Drilling engineering is a complex systematic project.In order to satisfy the needsand expectations of safety, efficiency and effectiveness, drilling engineering requiresadvanced technology, equipment and technicians as support. The drilling parametermonitoring system has many powerful functions, such as the real-time monitoring of thedrilling process, the acquisition and management of the basic data in drilling process,the real-time reflection of the statement of drilling. Becouse of its powerful functions,The drilling parameter monitoring system is becoming the essential tool to improvesecurity and reliability. However, the drilling parameter monitoring systems, which areused in this stage, have some problems which remain in some areas. For example, thesesystems can not meet the needs of users in system reliability, date accuracy anduser-friendly interface.According to the current problems which excited in drillingparameters monitoring systems, surrounding the drilling parameter data processing,graphical interface design and application, this paper did some intensive research.Firstly, this paper analysed the background of the application of computertechnology and communication technology in the field of drilling, summed up thedemand for drilling engineering drilling engineering parameters monitoring.Then, to cope with the demand for drilling engineering drilling engineeringparameters monitoring, this paper introduced the overall plan for designing the drillingparameter monitoring system data processing and display module. Based on CAN bustechnology, the paper presents a hot standby data processing program, which uses themain auxiliary mode to achieve a drilling operation parameter monitoring systemredundancy, improved monitoring system’s security and stability.According to thedrilling operatiors’ different needs in different condition,this paper submitted a projectabout user interface split screen mode. Application of the scheme design of graphicdisplay interface can meet the demand of operators in different working conditions ofmonitoring, get up the user-friendly of user interface dramatically.Finally, based on the research of the key implementation techniques, this paperdeveloped the drilling parameter monitoring system data processing and displaymodule.Those modules are the important parts of the monitoring system. And theresearch conclusion and development of software module have got good application and inspection in the monitoring system.
