| Here,the properties and processing of four solution polymerized butadiene styrene rubbers(SSBR),2557S,2557TH,3550S and 1560S,respectively,from Dushanzi Petrochemical Corp were studied based on the characterization of gel permeation chromatograph(GPC),fourier transform infrared(FTIR)and differential scanning calorimetry(DSC).Firstly,the effects of the content and molecular weight of styrene vinyl group with different structure on the properties of rubber were studied.The effects of SiO2 and coupling agent on the rheological behavior and mechanical properties of SSBR/SiO2composite systems were also studied.The characteristic rheological response of 1560S under different external action modes(steady shear,dynamic shear and steady tension)was discussed.It is found that 1560S has poor processability and good performance in use.The crosslinking density of 1560S is high,and it shows good working performance with large tensile strength,small permanent deformation,low compression calorific value.However,such rubber is difficult to process.Unlike 1560S,2557S possesses smaller Mooney viscosity and smaller Mooney relaxation area,suggesting better processing performance.Secondly,based on the industrial application,the study of the factors including feed temperature,degumming temperature and start up temperature on the rubber performance have been carried.The orthogonal experiment method was used to investigate the 2557S with good processing performance under the system of silica.It is found that the feed temperature is influenced by the structural properties of rubber.The mixing conditions associated with the processing and performance of 2557S was studied.The wettability of rubber and filler changes with the feeding temperature,and a high temperature is good for mixing condition between rubber and filler:a feed temperature at 80℃has been optimized.The degumming temperature is sensitive to the rotating speed of rotor and rubber shearing effect,and a shearing temperature of rubber at 140℃is optimzed.The mixing mill temperature at 40℃show small influence on the application properties of SBR.Finally,the properties of 2557S were investigated under different temperature vulcanization degrees.The optimum curing temperature of 2557S is 1021 s.The properties of the rubber prepared by filling dissolved styrene butadiene rubber were evaluated,and the engineering positive vulcanization time was determined.These results have been utilized in the industrial projects and shown good suggestions for industrial production. |
