Research On Pipeline Automatic Welding Machine

With the increasing demand for energy such as oil and natural gas,the length of minorcaliber pipelines in cities is increasing.Welding of oil and gas pipelines is the key to the laying project.At present,the minor-caliber pipelines are mainly welded by manual welding,and the joint's quality is greatly affected by the technical level of the operators.Therefore,in order to improve welding efficiency and quality,reduce the labor intensity of welder operators,and improve the construction environment of workers,develop minor-caliber pipe welding equipment is very meaningful.Based on this background,this paper analyzes the functional requirements of minorcaliber pipe automatic welding equipment,and puts forward corresponding technical indicators.Based on the design of four mechanisms: running mechanism,wire feeding mechanism,swinging mechanism and position adjustment mechanism,this paper has completed the selection of the motors,focused on the design of a minor-caliber pipe automatic welding control system.The control system use STM32F407 SCM as the control core,and its peripheral circuits include system power supply unit,Resistor screen interface,LED lamp and button,stepper motors and encoder,USB communication interface and RS485 communication interface.Based on the hardware design,analyzed the movement of each mechanism.The swing control program,walking control program,position adjustment control program,wire feeding control program,USB to serial port program,RS485 to serial port program were written.The functions of automatic welding of minor-caliber pipe are accomplished.The components of the simulation are debugged to meet the design requirements.The swinging mechanism can stop and swing according to the predetermined requirements,and the traveling mechanism can perform different walking speeds according to different positions.The position adjusting mechanism can be manually adjusted,and the wire feeding mechanism can wire according to the set mode.The four components of the system have met the requirements of this automatic welding equipment for minor-caliber pipes.
