Research On Optimization Production Process Of Environmentally Plasticizer DOTP

Di(2-ethylhexyl)terephthalate(DOTP)is considered to be a non-toxic plasticizer because of its low toxicity,high safety,and high resistance to water and oil.In this paper,the laboratory test of DOTP production was first carried out,and then the data of the laboratory test was used as a reference to optimize the process of DOTP production.Then the best optimized process conditions for DOTP production were determined.Finally,in order to improve the detection efficiency of DOTP performance indicators,the detection criteria was optimized combined with the actual situationafter DOTP production process was optimized.In this paper,the production process optimization of DOTP was studied with terephthalic acid and isooctanol.For the esterification process,the process was optimized through the investigation of th effects of the reflux material,the feed ratio,the amount of the catalyst and the addition way of the catalyst,based on the experimental test.The optimal process was achieved with the feed ratio 1:2.9,the amount of catalyst 0.07%,and the addition of the catalyst after 180 ?C.This paper also studies the refining process of DOTP.Adding the neutralizing agent at a higher temperature utilizing the esterification waste heat.It was found that the tetraisopropyl titanate catalyst in the reaction solution is the main reason for the influence of the later filtration effect.The optimal refining process of DOTP was stirring at 100 ?C for 50 minutes,with a rate 75 r/min,twice alkali amount the theoreticaL,and water amount 4%.The purification time of DOTP was shortened from 12 hours to 8 hours.Finally,this paper analyzed and comprehensively studied the changes of wastewater and filter cake before and after the optimized refining process.And the detection standard was optimized combined with the actual production situation after optimization,based on the national standard and the industry standard.
