Phthalic acid esters(PAEs)are widely used as plasticizers and softeners in plastics.Due to the introduction of processing aids,coating materials,ink,recycled pulp and other materials,the paper-based food contact materials containing harmful plasticizers may transfer to foods,causing food safety risks.In this dissertation,the migration characteristics of phthalate plasticizers in paper-based food contact materials were studied as follows:(1)23 PAEs were determined by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry.Under the optimized conditions,23 PAEs were successfully separated.The linear range of PAEs was 0.02 mg/L-1.0mg/L(DINP and DIDP were 0.1 mg/L-5.0mg/L)with correlation coefficient(R2)?0.997.The detection limits were 0.01 mg/kg-0.05 mg/kg and the quantitative limits were 0.033 mg/kg-0.167mg/kg.The RSDs%of PAEs for olive oil was less than 10%,indicating that the precision of this method was good.The recoveries of PAEs for olive oil ranged from 84.0%to 112.0%,indicating that the method was accurate.(2)Kraft paper bags were used as paper-based food contact materials.The migration of PAEs in rice flour,milk powder and olive oil at heating was studied.The migration experiments were carried out in a heating oven at 80? for 2 hours and in a microwave(800W)oven for 3 minutes,respectively.It was found that the migration efficiency of olive oil was higher compared with those of milk powder and rice flour.The results indicated that olive oil was more suitable as the food simulants for studying the migration process of PAEs.The results showed that the migration content of PAEs in paper-based food contact materials was higher in microwave oven compared with that of heating oven.The results showed that the migration speed of PAEs in paper-based food contact materials was faster in microwave oven compared with that of heating oven.In addition,acetonitrile was found to be more suitable as extractant for PAEs extraction in sample pretreatment.(3)A draft of local standard for the determination of 23 phthalates in paper-based food contact materials was prepared.A standard method for the determination of PAEs content and migration in paper-based food contact materials by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry was established.Taking oily food(vegetable oil)as the food simulant,the quantitative limit of the PAEs was 0.033mg/kg and the detection limit was 0.01 mg/kg(the quantitative limits were 0.167mg/kg and 0.05mg/kg for DINP and DIDP,respectively.and the quantitative limits of DINP and DIDP were 0.067mg/kg and 0.02mg/kg).The established method has good precision and accuracy,and can meet the detection requirements of PAEs in paper-based food contact materials.
