Assembly is an important processing link in the aircraft manufacturing process,it involves a series of related technical contents such as assembly process planning and simulation,assembly tooling design and manufacturing,assembly process implementation,inspection and measurement.Facing the product assembly process,it applies advanced digital process planning and construction methods to formulate the assembly process plan.which guides the actual assembly process that is one of the hot research issues for the assembly technology of complex mechanical products.Digital twin is an advanced technology proposed and developed in recent years.It is established by the association between product digital model and physical model,and gradually covers the entire product life cycle including the manufacturing process,and provides a solution for assembly-oriented assembly process design.Aiming at the requirements for the formulation and implementation of general aircraft assembly technology,the digital twin technology concept is applied,and the digital twin technology application solution oriented to the general aircraft assembly process was proposed around the digital space,physical space,and the information interaction and feedback mechanism.Construct a digital twin model of the assembly process for the actual assembly in the digital space,and generate a visual assembly process file to guide the assembly process in physical space.Physical space confirms and executes the assembly process based on the digital twin model of the assembly process.In order to achieve the connection between digital space and physical space,relevant interaction interfaces are constructed to realize the information exchange and feedback between digital space and physical space.The paper takes the engine nacelle of the general aircraft as the research object,and based on the above solution,which analyzes the design and structural characteristics of the nacelle components,faces the assembly process,and comprehensively considers the assembly objects,process equipment,and other process information to determine assembly order for different assembly levels.DELMIA that is the process planning and simulation software of Dassault Systèmes is used in assembly process simulation,and a three-dimensional visual assembly process file containing detailed process contents is given.The actual assembly site is based on the assembly process documents,confirming the site assembly information and performing the assembly process to complete the assembly process.Through the detailed design and construction of the information transfer interactive interface,the digital space to physical space assembly process instructions are issued and the assembly process guidance is given,and the physical space field assembly conditions,the assembly process,and the emerging assembly problems are fed back to the digital space.The establishment of the correlation between the digital space and the physical space assembly process can facilitate relevant technical and management personnel to timely grasp the product assembly process information and solve problems.
