Radioactive logging technology is needed in petroleum logging.The radioactive logging technology must use two kinds of radiation sources which will produce strong ionizing radiation directly to the human body:density source and neutron source.So it is necessary to monitor and manage these two kinds of radioactive sources.In this paper,the design and implementation of the whole monitoring system of petroleum logging radioactive source based on ZigBee and other hybrid communication technologies are studied.First,the urgency and necessity of petroleum logging radioactive sources in storage,borrowing,returning,transportation and using various links need to be monitored.Secondly,the whole architecture of the whole monitoring system of petroleum logging radioactive source and the function and interface of the software and hardware involved are described.Then focus on the core equipment in the system:the design and implementation of hardware and software of the intelligent monitoring terminal of the radioactive source are discussed in detail:according to the monitoring data,the advantages and disadvantages of various IOT communication technologies are studied.The hybrid network mode with ZigBee as the main 3G is determined.The methods and devices selection of radioactive source dose monitoring are discussed.Finally,the ultra small metal Geiger tube was used as the dose monitoring method.To meet the requirements of small size and low power consumption,the selection of CC2530+STM32 double MCU as the best scheme is discussed.To illustrate the detailed design and implementation of hardware and software,the correctness of the whole monitoring system of petroleum logging radioactive source is proved by experiments.
