With the development of the mining industry,all kinds of accidents and security problems have been emerged,since it's limited by the production environment,the equipment technology,management level and other various factors.Improving the technology level of safety production is a effective measure to maintain a healthy development.ZigBee is an emerging technology with a unified technical standard,which is low cost and low power consumption.Applying ZigBee to mine roadway safety monitoring system is conducive to the mine to improve level of safety production monitoring and management.In the background of the booming of ZigBee,the thesis secondly develops the project of Liaoning Jinfeng gold mining based on the demand of safety production and the status of mining in mine.The thesis summarizes the relevant issues of actual application,combines relevant experience accumulated in the project of Wuhan metro,designs the overall architecture,hardware and software of the original project again.The main work of the thesis is as follows:designing the whole system's main scheme;designing and implementing the hardware and software of sink node,environment sensor node and location node;improving MAC layer protocol of ZigBee based on the Tiny OS technology;designing and implementing the whole system's communication protocol including wired and wireless protocol based on IEEE802.15.4;designing and implementing of management system based on Struts/Spring/Hibernate framework.This thesis using the wireless network combined with wired network to construct the system's communication platform.The transmission between the nodes including the environment sensor node and the personnel position node and the sink node via wireless way,so it's convenient for deploying and moving the nodes.The backbone is industrial ring network characterized by the large transmission capacity,fast rate and high reliability.The sink node has a powerful function,it can transmit information to the nodes via wireless way,and it can also upload data to the ground and execute command from the monitoring center via cable way.The communication protocol with the characteristics of practicability,stability and high efficiency,supports for differentiating the types of packets.The system meets the desired requirements and has been deployed.The monitoring system can collect,process,transmit the environment information and give warning alarms or take some corresponding control measures according to the real situation.The personnel positioning system can give a real-time personnel distribution,replay the history tracks,give emergency evacuation alarms etc.By the aid of this system,the management and safety production level in mines gets promoted.
