The Application Of Shanxi Folk Paper Cutting Art In The Designof Women's Suits

The paper-cut art is one of the ancient folk arts of the Chinese nation.Influenced by traditional customs and geographical features,the paper-cut art varies greatly from place to place.Shanxi folk paper-cut art is one of the three major schools of Chinese folk paper-cut art.Shanxi folk paper-cut is the most common and simple art creation in rural areas of Shanxi Province.It is widely used in many people,such as seasons,life etiquette,etc In common life.This paper analyzes the origin and development of Chinese paper-cut and Shanxi paper-cut,and studies the application of Shanxi folk paper-cut art in folk life.The paper-cut art of Shanxi folk is compared with that of other regions in China and different regions in the province.Then through the analysis of domestic and foreign cases of using paper-cut elements in fashion design,this paper discusses the methods and skills of using folk paper-cut elements in all kinds of women's clothing design.Based on this,some of the art elements in Shanxi folk paper-cut are selected to be applied to the design practice of a series of women's suits.In order to explore the activation path of traditional folk art,at the same time,to a certain extent,enhance the cultural value of women's suits,give new cultural connotation and vitality to women's suits,and meet the needs of contemporary women for personalized and emotional consumption of suits.
