Peptide is a class of compounds that is linked by amino acids through peptide bonds and is also hydrolysates of proteins.It has been widely concerned by researchers because of its biological activity,simple synthesis method,biocompatibility,biodegradability,low immunogenicity and stimuli responsiveness.Various self-assembled structures can be formed by regulating the molecular sequence of the peptide,specificity of its side groups,changing the solvent solute and other environmental factors.Therefore,different functions can be realized,such as photodynamic antitumor drugs,tissue engineering scaffolds,and stimuli responsive materials.However,peptide self-assembled materials are easy to disassembly when they are affected by pH,temperature and biological enzymes.That is still a tricky issue for scientists.My research revolves around the cyclic dipeptides with excellent structural conformation.The main research contents include:(1)I selected the cyclo(tryptophan-tyrosine)dipeptide which has an excellent structural conformation to prepare a highly stable and biocompatible hydrogel.The morphology,rheological properties,stability and self-assembly mechanism of hydrogels were studied by means of microscopy,spectroscopy,rheology and thermogravimetric analysis.(2)Furthermore,I have studied the application of peptide self-assembled materials as antibacterial materials and energy storage materials.The result shows that when the photosensitizer is loaded in the hydrogel,the peptide self-assembled materials have good antibacterial property against gram-negative bacteria and gram-positive bacteria.The one-dimensional cyclo(tryptophan-tyrosine)dipeptide nanofibers were loaded onto a glassy carbon electrode,and a reversible electrochemical reaction was achieved at 0.4 V.They can charge and discharge rapidly,and the capacitance can reach 857.7 ?F/cm2 when the charge and discharge current is 25 ?A/cm2,which shows good energy storage ability.In summary,this hydrogel has excellent stability and can be used as a biocompatible electrochemical energy storage material.
