Data-driven Analysis Of Crude Oil Distillation Unit's Energy Consumption

Crude oil distillation unit is a priority and very important procedure in oil-refining industry,it provides many raw materials for the downstream procedures,while it's also one of the devices whose energy consumption is the largest.There for,to analyse crude oil distillation unit's energy consumption and establish an energy efficiency indicator between the consumption and returns is of great importance for the oil companies to save energy and reduce consumption.This article has mainly accomplished the following work:Firstly,established the net platform of wireless data collection,in order to provide necessary data supports for the follow-on works;Secondly,analyzed the distillation unit's main technological procedures,features of mixed crude oil and various products from a refinery under the ordinary pressure of 5.0Mt/a use the analogue simulation software Aspen Plus to have a steady-state simulation for the unit,and have a bedding for analyzing the relations between the unit's consumption and returns;One more,to have an annual comparative calculation of the unit's energy consumption under the ordinary pressure,according to the data records of the wireless data collection platform.Have a detailed analysis of the average energy consumption of the whole year and the monthly energy consumption structure of the energy-consumed mediums,select data from two different months whose unit consumption are of a great difference to analyze the critical energy consuming medium that affects the efficiency and provide data support for the optimization of producing projects;Lastly,under the premise that the unit's simulation procedures are set and the quality requirements of the oil would be met,adjust the key parameters of the unit,establish the relations between the heating load of the furnace and the total pull out rates of the unit,in order to have a indication for the unit's design,change and the adjustments of the production plan.
