As one of the main varieties of Z-N system of the fourth generation of polyolefin catalyst,AB catalyst is using for the production of polyethylene.There were still some problems during the industrialized application of the catalyst in the production of polyethylene,therefore optimization of the preparation technology was put forward to improve the quality of the catalyst.This paper mainly discusses the two key procedures of the preparation technology.One is spray drying and the other is production of masterbatch.The composition of the impurity that exists in the masterbatch was analyzed and effective measures were taken to remove the impurity from the masterbatch.Also,after analyzing the composition of the recycled THF,the THF recycling technology was optimized to improve the quality of the catalyst.The activity increased by 12%and the BD of PE increased by 6%.By comparing the performance of different specifications of the rotary discs,the parameters are determined as follows:D is 120mm,Q is 8 and ? is 3mm.By optimizing the key parameters like blast capacity of the spray drying process,the THF content that is the key quality index was decreased by 2.4%.The optimized catalyst was used in the industrial application of downstream plant.The results showed that the catalyst had a good performance in the device.The activity and bulk density were equivalent to the similar catalyst.The tiny powder was much less and the particle size distribution was concentrated.AB catalyst can fulfill the request of the relevant polyethylene's production.
