Masterbatch are important for reducing the environment contamination?energy-saving and improving the performance of rubber products.It rapidly became a hot spot in the rubber industry.The key of the research is the nano dispersion of filler in the rubber matrix.Carbon black/NR masterbatch was prepared by wet mixing,and the dispersion of carbon black and the influence of different process methods on the properties of rubber were studied.First,carbon black/NR masterbatch was prepared by modified carbon black suspensions with different treatment agents.The mechanical propertied of ethanol as carbon black treatment agents to prepare masterbatch are slightly inferior to those of dry method.The effect of ethanol on carbon black is not good.For the masterbatch filled with 30phr carbon black,the treatment of carbon black suspensions by SDS and AE09 can significantly reduce the heat build-up,improve the dispersion of carbon black and improve the mechanical properties.Those filled with 50phr carbon black has a lower mechanical properties.Second,for the rubber filled with 50phr carbon black,the alcohols and glucose were selected as the dispersing agent for carbon black.It was found that the comprehensive properties of masterbatch prepared by the polyethylene glycol 400 treatment were excellent.Then the amount of polyethylene glycol 400 was used as the variable,it was found that when the amount of polyethylene glycol 400 was 3%of carbon black,the physical properties were best,the dispersion of carbon black became better,and the binding force of carbon black and rubber increased.In order to achieve large-scale production of carbon black masterbatch,spray drying technology is applied to achieve the preparation of powdered rubber.Finding the best technological route of grinding carbon black suspensions by colloid mill by changing the grinding time and carbon black content.After that,AE09 was used to modify the natural latex and carbon black mixture to improve its stability,and the possibility of spray drying is ensured.Finally,spray drying is carried out,and the performance of powdered carbon black/NR masterbatch with different filling numbers is compared.It is found that spray drying can effectively improve the dispersion of carbon black,significantly reduce the heat build-up performance and improve the tensile strength.
