We choose hindered phenolic antioxidants,Irganox 1010?1076?168,and light stabilizers Tinuvin 622?770,Chimassorb 944 and their combination to modify materials yellowing by electon beam irradiation.The following conclusions are obtained:(1)Adding different dose of irganox 1010,irganox 1076,irganox168 seperately,the irganox 1076 could enhance the irradiation resistance of yellowing.(2)Adding different dose of light stabilizers seperately,Tinuvin 770 could enhance the irradiation resistance of yellowing.(3)Adding the compound of hindered phenolic antioxidant and light stabilizer,only combination of the irganox 1076 and Tinuvin 770 makes materials yellow index decreased.(4)Adding Irganox 1010?1076?168,and light stabilizers Tinuvin 770,crystallinity improved after irradiation.Adding light stabilizers Tinuvin 622,Chimassorb 944,crystallinity decreased after irradiation.(5)Adding Irganox 1010,Irganox 1076 and light stabilizers Tinuvin 622,Tinuvin 770,Chimassorb 944,the epitaxial initiation temprature decreased after irradiation,thermostability persistently reduced,all those facts indicate that electron beam irradiation makes PP materials degrade.
