China's furniture industry has made rapid progress with the development of the economy.Furniture products such as cabinets and closets become very common in daily life,and the market demand is large.At present,compared with foreign countries,there is a big gap in the function,precision and efficiency of the processing equipment for the spring hinge mounting holes of various cabinets.In the conventional processing,there are many types of spring hinge mounting hole processing plates,which have different dimensions of mounting holes and their positions.Plate positioning manually result in low accuracy and efficiency,and the feed for drilling holes using cylinder propulsion seriously affects the machining process and quality.Dimensios measuring with vernier calipers are low efficiency.Therefore,a set of spring hinge mounting hole processing equipment is designed to automatically and accurately locate and machine holes,and visually measure them.A design scheme of synchronous operation of three groups of drilling units is proposed to meet the requirements of processing technology and equipment design based on double PLC control and LabVIEW visual measurement.The mechanical structure,control system and visual inspection system of the equipment are designed.The mechanical structure of the equipment consists of three drilling units and frame.The drilling unit is composed of a spindle mechanism and a position mechanism.The spindle mechanism is installed under the worktable,which can improve the stability of the equipment and is convenient for clean up scraps.The position mechanism include the feeding motion in Z-axis and the positioning motion in X-axis.The Z-axis motion is provided by using a servo motor and a ballscrew.The X-axis motion is realized by using the servo motor,the reducer and the helical rack and pinion mechanism.the 3d model of spring hinge mounting hole machining equipment was established and optimized in Creo software.The control system is developed using the SMART 700 IE HMI and two sets of Siemens S7-200 SMART PLC,and the control diagram is designed,and PLC automatic control program and HMI configuration is finished.The visual inspection system is developed by using LabVIEW visual development module to online measuring machining dimensions and feedback to PLC through OPC Server communication.The spring hinge mounting hole processing and visual detection equipment can be used for automatically machining spring hinge mounting holes with different diameters and distances between holes.The equipment is simple in structure,low cost,accurate and efficient.
