The preparation of nitric acid by double pressure method is the most widely used industrial nitric acid production process.After decades of development and improvement,the method is mature and reliable,the product quality is stable,the safety and energy saving effect is good,and the operation rate is high.However,with the increasingly strict environmental requirements,the green and high efficiency of the original nitric acid plant faces many challenges.This paper focuses on three key issues affecting the safety,environmentally friendly and efficient operation of the installation in the actual production process.The first is the recovery and reuse of partially vented ammonia gas before the start of the nitric acid plant.The second is that when the nitric acid plant is operated at a lower load(70-80%),the absorption tower often has low efficiency and is caused by system fluctuations.Frequent parking problems;the third is the high consumption of platinum catalysts in the production of nitric acid.In this paper,the relevant process research of Zhonghao Nitric Acid Plant was carried out,and targeted technical transformation was carried out.The related process equipment and instruments were upgraded and further improved the process operation control method.The operation results show that the environmentally-friendly operation of the modified production equipment can meet the requirements of new environmental protection standards,and at the same time improve the production capacity and quality level of the equipment,and further reduce the consumption of raw materials and public and auxiliary equipment,achieve environmental protection upgrades,improve quality and reduce costs and increase efficiency purpose.The results of this study provide the technical basis and development direction for Zhonghao Company to implement the second phase project.
