In recent years,microfluidic chips have been widely used in biology,medicine,chemical detection and other fields with the advantages of high throughput and low consumption of detection reagents.As the carrier of experimental operation,the fabrication technology of microfluidic chips directly determines the functional realization and application scope of microfluidic chips.However,the key technology of microfluidic chip fabrication is microchannel forming and bonding.The traditional fabrication method is mainly inherited from the micro-electromechanical system processing.It not only requires expensive precision instruments,but also requires operators to have a large amount of knowledge reserves,so that the cost of chip fabrication is high and the output is low.In order to reduce the cost of fabrication of microfluidic chips,this paper studied the adhesive bonding technology and the microfluidic chip fabrication technology based on polyester film.The main contents are as follows:(1)Mixing effect simulation analysis of three-dimensional micro-mixer.The serpentine and Y-junction microchannels were designed.Using COMSOL software to simulate and analyze the micro-mixer and Compared two mixing effects.(2)Simulation Analysis of droplet generation of T-junction droplet microfluidic chip.A T-junction microchannel model was designed to simulate the droplet generation process and calculated the effective diameter of the droplet.(3)Fabrication and experimental verification of micro-mixer and droplet microfluidic chip.The influence of CO2 laser parameters on the size of microchannels was studied,and the process parameters table was established.Fabricated micro-mixer and droplet microfluidic chip with the same size as the simulation model and carrying out the experiments of mixing and droplet generation.Finally,analyzed the experimental results.(4)Study of microfluidic chip bonding technology based on the polyester film.Taking the opaque material polycaprolactone(PCL)and the difficult-bonding material biaxially oriented polystyrene(BOPS)as an example,the surface microchannel processing and the adhesive bonding based on the polyester film are performed.The functional tests such as fluid mixing and droplet formation were carried out.Finally,a variety of commonly used microfluidic chip substrate materials were selected to test the bonding strength with the polyester film.
