Silicone rubber is environmentally friendly and rich in resources as known.Silicone rubber has excellent performance in aging resistance,high-low temperature resistance and ozone resistance,because of its unique organic-inorganic hybrid chain structure.In this thesis,methyl vinyl silicone rubber(VMQ)and solution styrene-butadiene rubber(SSBR)were blended.It was expected that the advantages of silicone rubber could be brought into full play in tread rubber field,and the problems of low adhesion strength and mechanical strength of silicone rubber could be solved,so as to widen the application field of silicone rubber.The research is mainly divided into four parts:(1)The effects of VMQ vinyl content on VMQ/SSBR blends were discussed in terms of processability,mechanical properties,abrasion resistance and adhesion strength.When the vinyl content is 5%,the comprehensive properties of the blends were better.Adding the inhibitor can promote the dispersion of silica and enhance the adhesion strength of rubber compounds.(2)The effect of rubber feeding ratio on VMQ/SSBR blends was studied.The results showed that VMQ can reduce the dispersion of filler,mechanieal properties,wet-skid resistanee and adhesion strength,and the abrasion resistance increased first and then decreased with the increase of VMQ content.It was found that the friction coefficient,wet-skid resistance and peeling strength were proportional to the surface free energy,and the abrasion resistance was controlled by the friction coefficient,mechanical strength and aging resistance.The feeding ratio of rubber was determined by synthesizing various properties,and the performance of VMQ/SSBR blends reached the optimal balance when VMQ was 20 phr.(3)In order to improve the interfacial co-vulcanization of VMQ/SSBR blends,the effects of vulcanization system and parking time on the adhesion strength of VMQ/SSBR blends were studied.The results showed that when the dosage of inhibitor was 1 phr,the adhesion strength can be improved without reducing other properties,and the peel strength increased with the extension of curing time.Considering the economic benefits,it was appropriate to select 20 minutes as curing time.At the same time,due to the surface migration of VMQ and other rubber additives,the blend had highest adhesion strength when it was parked for 3 days.(4)Energy dispersive spectrometer(EDS)was used to analyze the relationship between diffusion at bonding interface and adhesion strength.The results showed that the adhesion strength was proportional to the diffusion range of S element.Mrhen the curing temperature is 170 C,the highest diffusion degree of S element at interface was reached.and the diffusion range is about 300?m.A method for analyzing rubber-rubber bonding interface by mapping pattern of EDS was proposed.
