This thesis established the system of analyzing the processed cheese carbon footprint in its life cycle,and evaluated the optimization of green design in typical production(dairy mixer)based on the processed cheese carbon footprint in its whole life cycle,which is the prototype of the dairy industry.Additionally,this thesis selected the high volume of carbon footprint data for products that related with enterprise data with the standard of the PAS 2050 and IPCC reports.In result,the evaluation of green design scheme that performed by the study gave the entire research much more systematic and comprehensive suggestions.Above all,the four points of the main research contents are as follows.(1)Establishing the carbon footprint emissions inventory for the entire life cycle of processed cheese that contains the raw material acquisition stage,the production and processing stage,the sales stage,and the waste recycling stage.(2)The actual production data of the enterprise are brought into the established life cycle carbon footprint analysis mode.The calculation results showed that the carbon footprints with the raw material acquisition stage,production processing stage and transportation stage are 2717.745tCO2eq,18739.110tCO2eq and 1777.525 tCO2eq.In addition,the result suggested that the carbon emissions from the mixer mixing unit of the processed cheese in the production and processing stage are in a severe stage.(3)Selecting the dairy mixer as the research object of green optimization design with the use of detachable design,recyclable design,lightweight design and modular design,etc.Through SolidWorks software,the study established a green optimization design case for dairy blender.This case was primarily about the raw material selection,the product structure design and even the processing technology improvement.(4)Published an evaluation scheme for the optimal green design(case study in(3))with group scoring and evaluation.Results showed that green design has been applied in different aspects including the raw material selection,processing and manufacturing and waste recycling of the product.However,lacking the departments include the product packaging,transportation and use suggested that the green design of dairy mixer still needs to be improved.The calculation and analysis of the carbon footprint for processed cheese during its entire life cycle are helpful to the government and the domestic dairy industry with the products and any other aspects for product environment optimization.Dairy mixer's green optimization design and evaluation will provide a reference for the research and development of green design of production equipment in the dairy industry.
