At present,there are many researches on water-based UV ink at home and abroad,but few on water-based UV ink-jet paste.The dispersion stability of the color paste directly affects the printing performance of the water-based UV ink-jet ink,and the excellent water-based UV color paste is the key factor to prepare the water-based UV ink-jet ink.The aim of this paper is to obtain a low viscosity,stable dispersion and improved UV-curable ink water-borne resin-free UV paste.According to the theory of pigment dispersion stability and the requirements of digital inkjet technology,the experimental analysis of water-based resin-free UV inkjet paste components was carried out to determine the composition and dosage range of water-based resin-free UV inkjet paste.The aqueous resin-free UV inkjet paste consists of auxiliaries such as pigment granules,dispersants,photographic monomers,surfactants,deionized water,wetting agents,antifoaming agents and antibacterial agents.In the research process,the pigment particles,the dispersing agent,the deionized water and the photosensitive monomer are firstly mixed uniformly,and then various additives are added in order,and finally the grinding beads are added,and the pigment paste is prepared by stirring and dispersing for a certain time by a high-speed stirrer.The main research contents and conclusions are as follows:The first part focuses on the effects of dispersants and photoreceptor types on the stability of aqueous resin-free UV pastes.The effects of seven different dispersantsandthree different photosensitive monomerson water-based non-resin UV color pastewereinvestigated.Theseven different dispersantswere Solsperse 46000(46000),Tego Dispers 750W(750),Tego Dispers 760W(760),Tego Dispers 761W(761),Tego Dispers 655(655),Tego Dispers 685(685)and Tego were systematically studied.Dispers 750 W and Tego Dispers 760W(750+760),andthethree different photosensitive monomerswere hydroxyethyl acrylate(HEA),hydroxypropyl acrylate(HPA)and acryloyl morpholine(ACMO)for water-based resin-free UV.The matrix of each of the photosensitive monomers and water ratios of 2:1,1:1,and 1:2 was subjected to orthogonal test with different dispersants,and the particle size,viscosity,and weather resistance of the milled paste were tested.The experimental results show that when the photosensitive monomer HPA and water are 1:2,the dispersing agent is 655 and the dispersing agent is 750+760,the particle size is about 120 nm,the viscosity is between 4 and 6,and standatthe room temperature for 24 hours without delamination or crust phenomenon.The second part is mainly concerned with the influence of pigment content,grinding time,dispersing agent 655,compound dispersant 750+760 dosage and The best proportion of compound dispersant 750 and 760 on the performance of color paste.The SEM was used to characterize the particle morphology,and the particle size and particle size distribution,viscosity and paste stability of the aqueous resin-free UV inkjet paste were determined.The results show that when the pigment Klein PY74 is 15%,the photosensitive monomer hydroxypropyl acrylate(HPA)and deionized water ratio is 1:2,the dispersant 750+760 is 3:1 compound dispersant and the content is 15%.The water-based resin-free UV inkjet paste obtained at a polishing time of 6h exhibited good properties in terms of viscosity,particle size,particle size distribution,heat resistance stability,and centrifugal stability.The third part mainly carries out verification of the application of abrasive colorants in waterborne UV inkjet inks.The physicochemical indexes of the inks prepared by different color pastes were tested,the initial water-based UV inkjet ink formulations were determined,and the curing time,color saturation and dot distribution of the ink droplets after printing were determined.The results prove that the water-based resin-free UV color paste is successfully applied to UV inkjet ink.The physical and chemical indicators of ink and color saturation can meet the requirements of market use,and the curing speed is slightly lacking.
