Permeable chemical protective clothing(CPC)is a necessary equipment to protect workers from chemical liquid.Previous studies mainly focused on the performance test of clothing and the performance test of protective materials,however,the research on the ease allowance and structure design of CPC was relatively less.Traditional CPC is loose and bulky,and part of the structure affects the flexibility of the wearer,and then affect the operation efficiency to increase the risk.Thus,it is of great significance to perform ergonomic design and ergonomic performance evaluation for CPC.Based on the principle of ergonomics,optimized design of ease allowance and local structure of permeable CPC were focused in this thesis,and the ergonomic performance of CPC was evaluated,and the design mode of CPC was proposed.Firstly,the movement characteristics of the workers in the rescue work were analyzed,the coherent movements were decomposed,and the size changes in body parts due to skin deformation were measured,providing a basis for the design of the movement ease allowance.Secondly,the local optimized structure design of the current CPC was carried out through structure separation.Finally,the ergonomic performance of CPC was assessed by subjective and objective experiments,and the effects of ease allowance design and optimized structure design on the comfort of the wearer were analyzed.Research findings were as follows:(1)By analyzing the skin deformation changes at each body part under different motions,the range of movement ease allowance at the key parts of CPC can be obtained.It was found that the skin deformation in the length direction of human body was larger and that in the circumference direction was smaller.Therefore,the design of CPC should focus on the ease allowance of sleeve length,garment length and pant length.Considering the static ease allowance,movement ease allowance and design ease allowance,the final ease allowance at the relevant parts of the CPC were determined.The allowance of length for coat and trousers was 22.8 and 4 cm respectively,the allowance of sleeve length for inner layer was 5cm,the overall allowance of chest circumference,chest width and back width was 40,20.5 and 21.5 cm respectively.(2)The optimization of local structure of permeable CPC included waist,hat,sleeve,zipper,lapel and bottom line.Considering the fit at waist and motion comfort,the waist of CPC was segmented to reduce allowance and then sewn into a conjoined structure.Considering the structure requirements at the head and the protective performance at the neck,the original two-piece conjoined cap was added with a transverse mid-cap structure.The round sleeve with relatively high comfort was employed,and the seam line at the bottom of the sleeve was moved to the front of the sleeve considering the comfort of underarm.From the point of view of independent wear and protection,the zipper was set in the position from the lower left to the upper right of the front coat piece,and the length was 90cm.Considering the emergency situation that may occur inside the clothing,a special structure was designed on the left shoulder to ensure the air ventilation when it was opened.Considering the convenience of donning and off and choosing shoes in different sizes,the chemical protective gloves and boots were designed individually,and the double-layer was designed at the clothing cuffs and bottom lines.(3)It was found that the comfort property for the optimized cap slightly decreased,however,the overall comfort property of optimized CPC was better than that on the market.The optimized CPC was easier to donning and off,showing better comfort property for structure,satisfaction of local structure and range of underarm movement were better than those of the market.Statistical analysis showed that there was extremely significant difference in thermal insulation of two CPC,and the thermal insulation of optimized CPC increased by 7.7%.It showed that the CPC made of composite fabric had superior thermal insulating performance when worn in the same low temperature environment.The design mode of CPC was refined by analysis of requirements,market research,design method selection and ergonomic performance evaluation,which provided scientific guide for the development of CPC.
