Ammonium nitrate fuel oil(ANFO)mixed with pulverized coal is a kind of innovative industrial explosive which is composed of traditional ANFO and waste pulverized coal produced in the process of raw coal crushing.ANFO mixed with pulverized coal has a good blasting effect in the open-pit coal mine.It also has the advantages of economic and environmental protection,low explosive consumption,high explosive power and good blasting effect.However,ANFO mixed with pulverized coal is an innovative explosive in engineering application.The theoretical research of the explosive is still in its infancy,and the compatibility between pulverized coal and ANFO explosive has not been studied.The study on the compatibility of ANFO mixed with pulverized coal can help us understand the thermal safety of the explosive and provide a theoretical basis for improving the safety of the explosive and optimizing the explosive formula.In order to study the compatibility between ANFO and pulverized coal,the thermal behavior of ANFO and ANFO mixed with pulverized coal were studied by differential scanning calorimeter(DSC).The apparent activation energy of two explosives was solved by Kissinger equation.According to GJB 772A-1997 502.1,the compatibility of ANFO with pulverized coal was analyzed.In order to further investigate the reasons that affect the compatibility of ANFO with pulverized coal,DSC and C80 micro calorimeter were used to study the thermal decomposition behavior of ANFO with pulverized coal and ammonium nitrate(AN)with pulverized coal,and the interaction between components was analyzed.The conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)According to GJB 772A-1997 502.1 Differential Analysis and Differential Scanning Calorimetry for Stability and Compatibility,the compatibility of ANFO mixed with pulverized coal is poor,which is 4 grades.(2)In nitrogen atmosphere,the DSC curves of ANFO and AN are all endothermic peaks;(3)When pulverized coal and ammonium nitrate are mixed,the chemical reaction between pulverized coal and ammonium nitrate will take place before the thermal decomposition temperature of ammonium nitrate.Pulverized coal can extremely reduce the thermal stability of ammonium nitrat(4)In the closed sample tank,the decomposition of ANFO is an obvious exothermic peak in C80 cruve;(5)When pulverized coal is mixed with ANFO,the chemical reaction between pulverized coal and ANFO will take place at the initial stage of thermal decomposition of ANFO and heat will be released.Pulverized coal can greatly reduce the thermal stability of ANFO;(6)The poor compatibility of ANFO with pulverized coal is due to the chemical reaction between some substances in industrial pulverized coal and ANFO.Figure[27]table[19]reference[82]...
