Research On The Classification Of Mongolian Traditional Furniture Decoration Based On Folk Culture

Mongolian customs are formed under the long-term nomadic life style and concept,furniture as a branch of folk culture,there is a great correlation between them.This paper combines Mongolian traditional furniture decoration with folk culture and analyzes the representative decoration of Mongolian traditional furniture under different folk culture.By analyzing the correlation between folk culture types and Mongolian traditional furniture,folk culture are classified into three categories,namely economic folk custom,spiritual folk custom,social folk custom.The collected folk scenes,Mongolian furniture and other pictures and text samples were sorted out according to the classification of folk culture.In the picture samples,728 pieces of production and living items,165 pieces of spiritual life items and 82 pieces of social life items.The representative elements in the three kinds of folk culture samples are analyzed statistically,and summarize the folk culture classification of traditional Mongolian furniture decoration.Three kinds of furniture are given priority to with ligneous red bottom colour drawing furniture,blue,white,red,yellow,green is main adornment color.Tooth plate,leg foot,metal is main adornment component.Plant,fret,endless knot,卐,lion,dragon,flame treasure are high in three types of furniture decorative pattern,their respective characteristics on behalf of the decoration are:production and living type furniture is much see different shapes of metal parts,leather handle,handrails and carving,Aquarius,antique,birds,fruit,bat,horse pattern;Social life furniture carving metal pieces,lansa,magpie and other patterns;Spiritual life furniture,such as carved tooth plate,eight treasure,vortex,Buddha figure and so on.According to the classification theory,design the Mongolian traditional folk furniture.
