The strategic reserve of crude oil is related to national security,and due to the physical and chemical nature of the hydrocarbon mixture itself,once an accident occurs in the storage tanks in the reservoir area,the impact of the accident is quite deep.Among the many types of accidents,the storage tank fire is very serious.This article fully considers the main hazards of the fire site of the storage tank,the key to the fire evolution process and the relevant safety barriers in the tank area.It is known that the scientific setting of the relevant safety barriers in the tank area can provide some protection for the adjacent storage tanks in the fire site.In order to take other rescue measures,create conditions to prevent the Domino accident in the tank farm.According to the current research status,focusing on the protection performance of the existing safety barrier of the storage tank,the following specific work has been done in a targeted manner:(1)Summarizes the hazards,types and related causes of fire accidents in storage tank pools;Combs the development process of fire accidents in tank farms,and innovatively added Petri nets to the example tank farms to describe the evolution of domino fire accidents in detail.The fire evolution path can not only be used as the evaluation sequence of storage tanks,but also provide support for the rational deployment of fire fighting resources during on-site rescue;At the same time,a comparative calculation model of pool fire heat radiation suitable for monsoon climate characteristics in China is studied.(2)The relevant definitions and corresponding classifications of safety barriers and safety functions in the storage tank area were summarized and analyzed,and the safety barriers,safety functions and technical measures acting on the fire scene of the storage tank pool were studied.(3)The method of finite grid division was used to study the temperature rise of the tank wall and the heat transfer mechanism of the oil wall boundary under the influence of heat radiation.The thermal stress of the steel tank wall of the storage tank under heating is analyzed.Innovatively proposed a quantitative assessment method for the fire safety barrier performance of the storage tank,that is,the length of time that the thermal stress failure of the crude oil storage tank wall occurs as the quantified result of the existing safety barrier performance of the tank.When the time required,the assessment conclusion of the existing safety barrier performance of the target tank is qualified.(4)Overall consideration is given to the evaluation of the protective performance of the fire protection coating of the adjacent tank and the fire protection cooling water safety barrier from the fire in the storage tank in the monsoon environment,to the heating of the adjacent storage tank wall to the thermal stress failure A series of processes;using C++language and QT class library to realize the existing safety barrier performance evaluation method of the storage tank through software programming,and the accuracy of each module was fully verified.During the process,adjacent tanks without fire protection coating were obtained The result of the thermal stress failure time of 249 seconds once again illustrates the necessity of scientifically setting a safety barrier;at the same time,it also provides a simple and practical tool for evaluating the performance of storage tank fire safety barrier for non-professionals.
