In this paper,the heating temperature,the rolling reduction rate,the addition of interlayer and the heat treatment four types of experiments to study the factors that can affect the microstrcture and mechanical properties of stainless steel/carbon steel clad plate,and the high qualified stainless steel/carbon steel clad plate have been sueeessfully produced in the laboratory.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)The main elements of the vacuum hot rolled stainless steel/carbon steel clad plate interface are Fe,Cr,Si,P and so on.The results show that vacuum hot rolling canobtain good composite board.The performance of stainless steel/carbon steel clad plate has obviously improved.(2)In the process of composite plate rolling,the effect of temperature on bonding strength was not obvious.With the increase of temperature,the bonding strength is improved,when the temperature reaches a certain value,the bond strength will not increase.The interfacial bonding strength increases with the increase of the reduction ratio when the rolling reduction rate is not up to the critical value.With the increase of the reduction ratio,the strength of the bonding strength increases.(3)The addition of interlayer materials Ni and Nb can effectively inhibit the diffusion of Cr in stainless steel.Adding interlayer material can not increase shear strength.On the contrary,the strength of the composite plate decreases with the addition of Nb.(4)The organizationin stainless steel side is single austenite with twin boundaries appear,and the organization in carbon steel side is ferrite and pearlite.There is a certain degree of decarburization near the interface.After heat treatment,bainite appears in the microstructure of carbon steel,the grain is refined,and the austenite grain size is uniform and small.(5)After the heat treatment,the performance of interface combination improves and the shear strength,yield strength and tensile strength increased accordingly.The heat treatment systemthat is fast cooling at high temperature andslow cooling at low temperature is suitable for stainless steel/carbon steel composite plate.
