Shallow thermal cracking is an effective method to visbreaking of super thick heavy oil,but the kinetic characteristics of hydrocarbon radical reaction in high viscosity system make the traditional cracking process have inherent contradiction in terms of visbreaking efficiency and product stability. In this paper, supercritical benzene(4.9 MPa,288.94?)was introduced into the visbreaking cracking reaction system to provide a superior diffusion environment for heavy oil, explore the optimal conditions for visbreaking, and use Aspen Plus to conduct process simulation and heat exchanger network optimization. In the supercritical benzene environment, the heavy oil visbreaking cracking reaction is mainly composed of dealkylation and condensation reaction. In the supercritical benzene environment with excellent dispersibility, through the change of reaction time and temperature, the visbreaking cracking effect can be significantly improved, the condensation reaction can be inhibited, and the coking can be reduced. In order to understand the process of industrial feasibility of using Aspen Plus software accordingly supercritical benzene in heavy oil visbreaking process simulation, and use the Aspen Energy Analyzer software pinch analysis, make full use of the flows of Energy,at the right under the heat transfer temperature difference of heat exchanger network optimization, and finally from the economic perspective, the ideal optimization results were obtained.
