Continuous thermosol dyeing of polyester fabrics is a short-flow energy-saving and emission-reduction technology.This study focuses on the one-step process of softening/dyeing and waterproofing/dyeing of thin polyester fabrics:1)Investigate the feasibility of one-bath thermosol dyeing process of softener/liquid-dispersed black MP dye,and investigate the influence on dyeing performance and fabric style.2)Investigate the feasibility of same-bath thermosol dyeing of water-repellent agent/liquid-dispersed black MP dye,and investigate the effects on dyeing performance,water repellency,and fabric style.3)Based on the above,the adaptability of same-bath dyeing process was studied and evaluated.Research indicates:1)Polyester taffeta fabrics are processed in the same bath with liquid-dispersed black MP and softener D904 or D209.The optimized processing conditions are liquid-dispersed black MP 6.0%and softener 1.5%;compared with unwashed fabrics without softener,L*value decreased by 4.54%(D904)and 5.21%(D209),B value decreased by 53.11%(D904)and 62.68%(D209),2HB value decreased by 9.72%(D904)and 40.27%(D209),the color fastness to rubbing is not less than 4 to 5 grade;hot water washing can improve the color fastness to rubbing 0.5 to 5 grade and the change in the absorbance of hot water washing residual liquid is low;its dyeing performance in the same bath is better than the other three kinds of softness Agent(HF603,H606,H664).2)The polyester taffeta fabric adopts the same bath dyeing process of 2 dyes(6.0%liquid dispersion black MP and 2.15%powder dispersion black ECT)and 2 softeners(D904 and D209)respectively.the dyeing unevenness of the liquid dispersion black MP fabric The lower is 0.29(D904)and 0.37(D209),respectively,has better dyeing uniformity;while the powder dispersion black ECT has higher dyeing unevenness,respectively 0.65(D904)and 0.84(D209),its dyeing The uniformity is poor.The color fastness to rubbing of liquid-dispersed black MP fabrics is not less than 4?5 grades,which is improved by 0.5?1 grade compared to powder-dispersed black fabrics;liquid-dispersed black MP has better dyeing effect and lower dyeing unevenness And better rubbing fastness,the absorbance of hot water washing residual liquid is about 1/6 of the powder dispersed black ECT.3)The polyester taffeta fabric is processed in the same bath with liquid dispersed black MP and water repellent F2710 or D14.The optimized processing conditions are liquid dispersed black MP 8.0%and waterproof agent 10%.L*The values decreased by 10.84%(F2710)and 2.56%(D14)respectively,the water-wetting contact angle reached 133.8 °(F2710)and 131.9°(D14),respectively,and the color fastness to rubbing reached 5 grade;Hot water washing has little effect on dyeability and water wetted contact angle.Its dyeing performance in the same bath is better than the other two waterproofing agents(waterproofing agents FFR and D42)4)The polyester taffeta fabric uses two dyes(8.0%liquid dispersion black MP and 2.75%powder dispersion black ECT)and two water repellents(F2710 and D14)in the same bath dyeing process.The dyeing unevenness of the liquid dispersion black MP fabric Less than powder-dispersed black ECT,liquid-dispersed black MP fabric unevenness is 0.35(F2710)and 0.18(D14),powder-dispersed black fabric unevenness is 0.57(F2710)and 0.55(D14);liquid-dispersed black MP fabric The rubbing fastness is 5 grade,which is slightly improved compared to the powder black fabric;the liquid dispersed black MP has better dyeing effect,lower dyeing unevenness,better water wetting contact angle and better rubbing fastness Degree,the absorbance of hot water washing residual liquid is about 1/7 of the powder dispersed black ECT.5)Polyester taffeta fabrics are dyed in the same bath with 1.5%softener D209,3.0%liquid disperse dye(violet V93 and orange O288)and 10%water repellent F2710,4.0%liquid disperse dye(violet V93 and orange O288)Waterproof dyeing with the same bath process,the rubbing color fastness of unwashed fabrics reaches 5 grade;adding a softener or water repellent reduces the unevenness of dyeing,reduces the absorbance of hot water washing residual liquid,and can obtain good flexibility or water resistance6)Polyester double crepe and polyester spandex fabrics use 1.5%softener D209,6.0%liquid dispersion black MP for soft dyeing in the same bath process,and 10%waterproof agent F2710,8.0%liquid dispersion black MP for waterproof dyeing in the same bath process,fabric L*value and unevenness are reduced,the color fastness is improved,and the fabric obtains excellent dyeability and color fastnessIn summary,the thermosol dyeing process of liquid disperse dyes/softeners in the same bath or liquid disperse dyes/waterproofing in the same bath is feasible,and is an energy-saving emission reduction and short-flow processing method.
