With the increasing market demand for large gears,the manufacturing technology is also gradually improving.Due to the limitation of cost,efficiency and measurement conditions,the measurement technology of large gear has always lagged behind the manufacturing technology,so the high-speed and accurate measurement of large gear has always been focused on the gear measurement.In the field of gear measurement,pitch deviation reflects the angle error of gear in the transmission,which is an important index to evaluate the geometric accuracy and transmission performance of gear;it's a necessary inspection item for gear accuracy measurement.As the technical characteristics and difficulties of large-scale gear measurement,by researching the online measurement technology of large gear pitch deviation,the online measurement instrument of pitch deviation is designed and manufactured which could measure a 5 m diameter gear;it adopts special measurement devices to improve the measurement accuracy of pitch deviation and the stability of the measurement system;finally,the error and uncertainty are analyzed then the comparison test is carried out which shows that the accuracy of the instrument can meet the actual needs.The main work includes the following aspects:(1)By comparing the current large-scale gear detection methods,based on the relative method of pitch deviation measurement principle,the overall design of the large-scale gear pitch deviation online measurement instument is carried out with the principle of circular sealing and asynchronous drive synchronous measurement method.According to the measurement conditions,the key parts of the measuring instrument are designed,manufactured,simulated and selected(2)The movement control and signal processing software is built,by which the measurement signal acquisition,measurement data processing,motion overload protection and other functions are completed.By the calibration test of pitch deviation measuring device,the corresponding relationship is obtained between the actual displacement of probe and the sensor reading,and the transducer calibration is completed.(3)The error analysis and uncertainty evaluation of the measurement system are carried out.By analyzing the source of system errors,the error in the measurement is processed,and the influence of measurement error is reduced by eliminating,averaging and compensating.According to the evaluation standard of ISO uncertainty,the uncertainty of pitch deviation measuring instrument is evaluated.(4)A complete rack pitch deviation measurement test is carried out.The experimental result shows that the instrument can ensure stable and high-precision measurement,which can meet the measurement requirements of large-scale gear pitch deviation.
