Cycloid bevel gear is a basic transmission component to transfer motion and dynamic between intersecting shaft and crisscross shaft has been widely used in the industry such as automobiles,vessels,electrical tools and etc,for its advantages such as higher loading capacity,better transmission performance,bigger overlap ratio,smaller noise and etc.Cycloid bevel gear is processed by continuous indexing method,the technology of gear processing and tooth surface shape are very complex.Due to the existence of machine setting parameters error,cutter parameters error,fixture error,tooth surface heat-treat error and etc,there must be tooth profile error on the processed tooth surface.The tooth profile error can be corrected by change the machine setting parameters.To correct the tooth profile error,according to the cutting process and principle of Oerlikon tooth system cycloidal bevel gear,the geometry modeling of tooth surface,the influence of machine setting parameters and cutter parameters on the tooth profile error and correction algorithm of tooth profile error are studied.The summary of this paper are follows:1.According to the principle of Oerlikon tooth system cycloidal bevel gear cutting,the theory of gear meshing and the kinematic relationship between the parts of machine,the geometric models of the tooth surface of formate gear and tool pan tilted pinion method of Oerlikon tooth system cycloidal bevel gear were established.And the method of tooth surface discretization was provided,and the coordinates and normal vectors of the discrete points on the tooth surface were calculated.The theoretical foundation for the study of the tooth profile error correction algorithm of cycloidal bevel gear,the influence of the machine setting parameters and cutter parameters was established.2.According to the established geometric model of tooth surface,the calculation model of tooth profile error was established.The influence of the error of the machine setting parameters on the tooth profile error was shown in the form of topology,and the influence of machine setting parameters on the tooth profile error was analyzed.The machine setting parameters which had greater influence on the tooth profile error were determined,and the theoretical foundation for the tooth profile error correction was established.3.The tooth profile error correction model and tooth thickness error correction model were established.To solve the problems that the variations of machine setting parameters and cutter parameters were difficultly obtained,and to solve the problem that tooth thickness error was not considered,a new tooth profile error correction method was established,which was to construct the objective function including tooth profile error and tooth thickness error,and the variations of machine setting parameters and cutter parameters of gear pairs were obtained by complex method.4.The experiment of gear pairs cutting and tooth profile error correction were made on the domestic CNC spiral bevel gear cutting machine.The maximum tooth profile error of gear is reduced from 37.5?m to 5.2?m.The maximum tooth profile error of pinion is reduced from 45.8?m to 8.8?m.The result proves that the geometric model of tooth surface and the algorithm of tooth profile error correction are correct...
