The tire is the only part of the vehicle in contact with the road,which transfers all the force of the ground acting on the vehicle body,and directly affects the vehicle's dynamic,braking,handling stabilit,ride comfort and so on.Grip performance and wear performance are two important performance of tires,in which grip performance determines the adhesion relationship between tires and road,and wear performance determines the service life of tires,but there are contradictions between the two performance in tire design,that is,one performance to improve,the other performance will decline.At present,it is of great theoretical significance and engineering application value to study the design method of the coordinated improvement of the grip performance and wear performance of tires for the requirements of high performance.In this paper,the finite element analysis model of 205/55R16 radial tire is established by using ABAQUS software.Extended Savkoor friction model is selected to simulate the friction contact between tires and road.Longitudinal friction force between tire and road surface is used to evaluate the grip performance of the tire.The friction energy loss rate in the contact area of tire is selected to evaluate the wear performance.Tread,as the part of the tire structure in direct contact with the road,directly affects the performance of the tire.Through the analysis of tread arc structure design method,tread width and tread radian height of the tire,it is concluded that the grip performance of tire is directly related to the ground pressure and the area of high pressure zone at the tire shoulder,and the grip performance of tire can be improved by improving the ground pressure distribution of tire shoulder.The change of tread radian height has a significant effect on the ground pressure distribution uniformity of tires,and the wear performance of tires can be improved by increasing the tread radian height appropriately.By summarizing the influence of tread arc structure on the ground grasping and wear performance of tire,the bionic design method of tread arc is proposed.Cat's pad with reliable grip performance is selected as the research object.Through the analysis of the ground characteristics and geometric structure of the cat's pad,the cross section shape of the cat's pad is selected for the bionic design of the tread arc,and the simulation analysis is carried out.The results show that the bionic tread increases the area of high pressure zone in the tire shoulder position,which increases the grip performance of the tire.Meanwhile,greatly reduces the friction energy loss rate of the tire,which improves the wear of the tire.So that the grip and wear performance of tire to achieve synergy ascension.Tread pattern plays an important role in the driving and braking process of tires,which directly determines the grip and wear performance of tires.The finite element model of a single pattern block is established to analyze the structural parameters of tire pattern,it is concluded that the change of the angle of the horizontal groove wall of the pattern has a significant impact on the grip and wear performance of the tire pattern,and leads to the contradiction between the two performances,which is mainly caused by the curling deformation of the ground leading edge and the warping of the rear end of the tread block.Through stiffness analysis,it is found that the transverse groove wall angle mainly affects the pattern block's longitudinal stiffness and then the pattern block's grounding state.Therefore,the design method of pattern transverse groove wall arch is put forward.Simulation analysis shows that the arch design of pattern transverse groove wall increases the longitudinal stiffness of pattern block,and also increases the stiffness of the front of pattern block.To a certain extent,the problems of crimping deformation at the front end and warping at the back end of pattern block are solved,which makes the grip and wear performance pattern block has been synergistically improved.Through the overall design and simulation analysis of the tire pattern,the results verify the feasibility of the pattern transverse groove wall arch design,which improve the tire grip and wear performance.
