China's urbanization rate continues to accelerate.It is expected that by 2035,China's urbanization rate will increase by 71% to 73%.Promoting the urbanization process has become an important driving force for economic development,but rapid urban expansion has exceeded the local resource and environmental carrying capacity,resulting in a series of ecological environment deterioration problems such as resource shortages and environmental pollution.With the rise of the information and intelligent revolution,the trend of time and space compression at the regional scale is obvious,and scholars' research perspective has turned to the spatial coupling relationship between urbanization and the ecological environment system.In this context,examining the spatial interaction mechanism behind the urbanization and ecological environment coupling development construction from the perspective of "relationship" is of great significance to the realization of high-quality cross-regional coordinated development of urbanization construction.Based on the introduction of the research background,this article extensively reads domestic and foreign literature on the coupling development of urbanization and ecological environment,and uses spatial analysis to analyze the urbanization level,ecological environment level,and both of China 's urbanization in 2008-2017 based on relevant theories.Coupling the development level to analyze the spatial and temporal pattern,using social network analysis to study the spatial correlation characteristics of the coupling level of urbanization and ecological environment in China,and using the spatial econometric model to describe the spatial spillover effect of its influencing factors.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)From the perspective of time series characteristics,the average value of urbanization in China increased from 0.178 to 0.348 during the study period,and the average value of the ecological environment presents an "S" shaped rising and falling curve,which is between 0.395 and 0.472;coupling and coordination The overall mean of the degree shows a steady upward trend,which is between 0.506 and 0.626.(2)From the perspective of spatial distribution characteristics,the coupling degree of urbanization and ecological environment in 30 provinces and cities in China all show an upward trend.The types of coordination are mainly low-level coordination and medium-level coordination,and there are also serious uncoordinated types and highly coordinated type;overall performance is characterized by spatial differentiation in the eastern region where the coupling development level is higher than in the western region.(3)From the perspective of spatial network characteristics,network density analysis shows that the degree of spatial correlation between the coupling coordination degree of urbanization and ecological environment in China is enhanced,and the spatial effect of the new type of urbanization and ecological environment driven by the circle structure is significant.The characteristics of the node structure indicate that provinces such as Shandong and Henan are located at the center of the coupling network between urbanization and the ecological environment,and at the same time promote the "bridge" effect of spatial linkage between other provinces.(4)The analysis of the driving mechanism shows that environmental pollution treatment investment has a greater role in promoting the coupling of local urbanization and ecological environment than pollution treatment charges.The spatial spillover effect of environmental pollution treatment investment is not significant,and the latter pollution treatment charges not only exist significant Positive space spillover,and this space spillover effect is greater than the direct effect;the coupling network structure has an inhibitory effect on the coupling development of local urbanization and the ecological environment,and the indirect effect has not passed the significance test;technological innovation is to promote regional urbanization and the ecological environment The most important factor for coordinated development is that the total population has a significant negative effect on the coordinated development of urbanization and the ecological environment.Per capita disposable income has a promoting effect on local coupling development and has a suppressing effect on the coupling development of neighboring areas.
