Cutting technology is widely used in the process of machine manufacturing.Cutting temperature is an important physical quantity,which is directly related to the service life of the tool and the surface quality of the workpiece.It is very important to control the cutting process and realize the intelligent manufacturing to obtain the temperature of cutting area in real time.Therefore,combining with the wireless transmission technology of the Internet of things,a wireless temperature measurement system for the cutting temperature of the tool rake face is proposed to measure the cutting temperature.The wireless temperature measurement system for the cutting temperature of the tool rake face is built to realize the wireless measurement of the cutting area temperature of the rake face during cutting process,which provides technical reference for the industrial intelligent manufacturing.The temperature distribution of the tool rake face was analyzed by using DEFORM-3D finite element simulation software to carry out cutting finite element simulation to lay a theoretical foundation for determining the hot contact position of the thin film thermocouple on the rake face.The grooves on the tool rake face were prepared by using femtosecond laser micromachining method,and then the electrolyte plasma polishing was carried out to remove the slag,dirt and oxide skin left at the bottom of grooves after femtosecond laser processing,so that the bottom of grooves can basically meet the coating requirements,which is the basis for the subsequent preparation of thin-film thermocouple temperature sensor.Si O2 thin films were prepared by plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition?PECVD?on the tool rake face,and the masks corresponding to the grooves were designed and prepared.Ni Cr/Ni Si thin film thermocouples were prepared at the bottom of the grooves by magnetron sputtering.According to the analysis of the properties of the films,it was found that the Si O2 films have good insulation performance and compact structure.The Seebeck coefficient of Ni Cr/Ni Si thin film thermocouple was close to the standard K-type thermocouple,meeting the temperature measurement requirements.Making the preparation for the construction of wireless temperature measurement system of cutting temperature.Zig Bee wireless transmission network was established,Arduino program was written,and data acquisition equipment was designed with thermocouple signal converter.Wireless acquisition and recording of cutting temperature were realized with wireless data receiver and PC upper computer software.The wireless temperature measurement system based on the embedded thin film thermocouple tool was built and the field cutting test was carried out to analyze the influence of different cutting parameters on the cutting temperature,and the experimental data of cutting temperature was compared with the simulation data of temperature field to verify the feasibility of the wireless temperature measurement system based on the embedded thin film thermocouple tool,which can realize the wireless measurement of cutting temperature on the tool rake face during cutting process.
