It is magnesium inorganic cementing material particleboard that can only solve the utilization of wood processing residues and reduce the consumption of natural forest resources.In the meanwhile,it can develop the way of industrial utilization of waste,and avoid the dependence of using common formaldehyde particleboard during furniture manufacturing and interior decorating,which is beneficial to environmental safety and human health.In this paper,both pine wood shavings from wood processing residues and eco-friendly magnesium-based inorganic adhesive are used to prepare particleboard through hot pressing technic.The author studies the effects of density,amount of reinforcing agent and holding time on mechanical properties of plates by employing single factor experiment to obtain the ideal process parameters.Then the effects of sizing amount and reinforcing agent on the properties of the plates are studied.At the same time,the mechanism of its influence on the properties of plates is analyzed by means of SEM(scanning electron microscope),XRD(X-ray diffraction),and TGA(thermogravimetric analyzer).The author uses single factor experiment to screen the type of curing agent,using orthogonal experiment to determine the optimum technology parameters,as well as analyzing the effect of curing agent on the properties of plates by SEM.At last,the thesis draws the following conclusions:(1)The author uses the single factor experiment to study the preparation of particleboard,considering the cost and economic benefits of the board,finally obtaining the ideal process parameters:the density is 0.95 g/cm3,the dosage of reinforcing agent is 1.50%,and the holding time is 342s.(2)The effect of sizing amount on mechanical properties of particleboard was studied in this paper.When the sizing amount is 55%,the m echanical properties of the plate are the best.The bonding strength of particleboard mainly comes from the hydration and curing reaction of inorganic adhesives under the condition of hot pressing.(3)It is found that the addition of enhancer is beneficial to the hydration reaction of inorganic adhesives and the improvement of mechanical properties of particleboard.(4)Some curing agents,such as sodium silicate,magnesium chloride,and ferrous sulfate,have little influence on the mechanical properties of the plates under the single factor conditions.The optimum process parameters obtained by the orthogonal test are as follows:when the curing agent is magnesium chloride,the adding amount of curing agent is 1%,the hot-pressing time is 525s,and the hot-pressing pressure is 3.5mpa,the mechanical properties of the board meet(P2)particleboard standard.
