In this article,studied the influence of mixing temperature and cure temperature on the loss factor tan? and silanization reaction degree for silica filled compound.Optimized the low rolling resistance retreaded tire formula to contrast the performance with conventional high abrasion resistance retreaded formula and TBR low rolling resistance tread formula.When manufactured in workshop used this formula,I tried to contrast the extruding performance and the degree of silica silanization reaction of three different mixing processes.Then used this compound mixed by the tandem mixer to manufacture retreaded tire and verified them.The results show that the mixing temperature has a great influence on the degree of silanization reaction and loss factor tan?,and the best mixing condition is 200 seconds at 150?.The higher the cure temperature setting,the higher the loss factor tan?,the more adverse to reduce tire rolling resistance.150? is the optimal cure temperature for loss factor tan? and the balance of production efficiency.In this study,compared with high abrasion resistance retreaded formula,optimized formula has slightly lower abrasion performance and much better(46.1%)low rolling resistance performance.Compared with TBR low rolling resistance formula,optimized formula has better abrasion performance and slightly improved roll resistance performance.Which is an ideal formula for the long distance transportation of trucks and buses.Compared with conventional mixing process,low temperature primary process mixing process and tandem mixer mixing process.It showed that tandem mixer process compound showed the best extrudability,the highest degree of silanization reaction,the highest production efficiency and the lowest energy consumption,it is the best choice for mixing silica reinforced tread rubber.Manufactured retreaded tire used the compound mixed by tandem mixer,the rolling resistance coefficient is 22.8% lower than the conventional retread tire,these low rolling resistance retreaded tires have reached the Smartway certification standard of American EPA,and the product has been certified.The road test showed that these low RR tires have satisfactory abrasion property with an average abrasion of 1.1-1.3km/mm.The range is expected to be 130,000 to 150,000 kilometers..
