With the mining of ores,the tendency of minerals to become "lean,fine,and mixed" becomes more and more serious,and the recovery of low-grade,fine-grained minerals has received increasing attention.Inhibitors can change the surface properties of minerals to improve the floatability of minerals.In this paper,three common calcium-bearing minerals,scheelite,fluorite and calcite,were selected for flotation experiments of single minerals with different particle sizes(-0.18+0.1mm,-0.1+0.074 mm,-0.074+ 0.023 mm,-0.023mm)and artificial mixed ore.The experiment mainly studied the effect of pH,collector NaOL,modified water glass inhibitors SK-2and KS on the flotation performance of different particle size calcite,fluorite and scheelite.Inhibitors SK-2 and KS affect the flotation separation of 2: 1 artificial mixed ore of calcite and fluorite,2: 1 artificial mixed ore of calcite and scheelite.The mechanism of inhibitors SK-2 and KS on the surface of scheelite,fluorite and calcite minerals was studied by IR,determination of zeta potential and determination of contact angle of powder.The single-mineral flotation test shows that in the alkaline pH range,scheelite,fluorite and calcite of different sizes can exhibit better floatability;fine-grained minerals need more collector achieve a good recovery rate;fine-grained minerals need more collector achieve a good recovery rate;inhibitors SK-2 and KS can play a good inhibitory effect on-0.18+0.1mm,-0.1+0.074 mm,-0.074+0.023 mm calcite,and the inhibitory effect on-0.023 mm calcite is weakened.The separation test of artificial mixed ore shows that inhibitors SK-2 and KS can separate the 2: 1 artificial mixed ore of calcite(-0.18+0.1mm,-0.1+0.074mm)and fluorite(-0.074+0.023 mm,-0.023mm),2: 1 artificial mixed ore of calcite(-0.18+0.1mm,-0.1+0.074mm)and scheelite(-0.074+0.023 mm,-0.023mm)well;separated the 2: 1 artificial mixed ore of calcite(-0.074+0.023mm)and fluorite(-0.074+0.023 mm,-0.023mm),2: 1 artificial mixed ore of calcite(-0.074+0.023mm)and scheelite(-0.074+0.023 mm,-0.023mm)were hard;separated the 2: 1 artificial mixed ore of calcite(-0.023mm)and fluorite(-0.074+0.023 mm,-0.023mm),2: 1artificial mixed ore of calcite(-0.023mm)and scheelite(-0.074+0.023 mm,-0.023mm)by reverse flotation.By IR,it was found that the modified water glass inhibitors SK-2 and KS havechemical adsorption on the surface of calcite;Through the zeta potential test,it was found that the adsorption strength of inhibitors SK-2 and KS on scheelite,fluorite and calcite is:After the addition of inhibitors SK-2 and KS,the powder contact angles of different grades of scheelite,fluorite and calcite have different decreases,indicating that inhibitors SK-2 and KS have different effects on the different grades of scheelite,fluorite and calcite.
