Research On The Design Of Anti-collision Protection Clothing For Children’s Accidental Fall

According to a report released by the United Nations Children’s Fund,the World Health Organization,the United Nations Population Division and the World Bank Group in 2018,about 6.3 million children under the age of 15 died in 2017.Children’s accidental injury is the main reason for the rising rate of child casualties in the world.According to the review report of injuries to children and adolescents in China released by China National Center for Disease Control and Prevention Chronic Non-communicable Diseases Prevention and Control Center and the Global Child Safety Organization in 2017,accidental injuries were the primary cause of death of children and adolescents aged 0-19 in China from 2010 to 2015,accounting for 40%-50% of all deaths,nearly 50% every year.Nearly 50,000 children under the age of 14 lose their precious lives due to accidental accidents.According to the statistics of the World Health Organization,falls are the main cause of child injuries in the world,and also the primary cause of non fatal injuries.According to the "Children’s Fall Intervention Technical Guide",it points out that falls account for 4.2% of the global cause of injury for children aged 0-17 years.According to the previous Global Burden of Disease(GBD),it shows that falls account for a large proportion of injuries among children aged 0-14 years in China,accounting for 37.57% of the life lost due to injuries(YLD),ranking first.The“Review Report on the Status of Chinese Adolescent and Child Injuries in China”shows that falls are the number one cause of emergency cases of injuries to children and adolescents,accounting for 49.66% of the total number of emergency cases of all injuries.The high incidence and high disability rate of children’s falls cause a huge disease burden on children and a heavy economic burden on families.Therefore,active protection of children’s falls is one of the important ways to reduce children’s injuries.At present,the research on the protective function of clothing industry at home and abroad has received wide attention,but it lacks the research for fall protection.Most of the children’s protective products and clothing are about children’s professional competition and sport clothing,which lacks of research and development in the daily protection for children.In view of this issue and social needs,this papertakes the school-age children as the design object,from the perspective of the protection and safety of functional clothing in case of accidental fall,studies and designs children’s anti-collision clothing for children’s fall,in order to alleviate the threat of personal safety of children injured by accidental fall.In this study,1006 cases of children’s accidental injuries are collected from January 1 to December 31,2018 in Wushan County Hospital of traditional Chinese medicine of Chongqing City,including 469 cases of accidental fall injuries and 378 cases of collision injury in fall.It first analyzes 378 cases of children’s accidental fall impact injury,summarizes the distribution characteristics,damage location and damage degree of children’s accidental fall collision injury,and obtains the children’s protection requirements for accidental fall anti-collision functional clothing.At the same time,combined with the analysis of children’s fall behavior,the protection principle of children’s accidental fall-proof anti-impact functional clothing is determined.Composite fabric is a breakthrough point,and design and application analysis is carried out from performance,composite method,application principle and form.Through the combination of the protection analysis of the impact injury of children accidentally falling and the damage degree and frequency of the injury site,the protection function grade of the impact protection functional clothing is classified.From the four aspects of protection,functionality,practicability and decoration to meet the design needs of children’s accidental fall-proof and anti-collision functional clothing,and complete the design plan.Make sample clothes in combination with the design plan,and conduct subjective evaluation and analysis of the wearing experiment.Finally,a more reasonable and systematic design scheme based on age characteristics and seasonal characteristics is proposed.Through the research on the design of children’s accidental fall anti-collision functional clothing,we have desiened the functional clothes that children can wear in daily life to prevent anti-collision during accidental falls.The flexible protective composite fabric makes the clothing comfortable,decorative,protective and practical.It has higher theoretical and practical significance in the development and design of children’s anti-collision clothing and other functional clothing,makes up for the research vacancy of children’s protective functional clothing and the market vacancy of daily protective functional clothing,and solves the problem of children’s protection in social environment.
