With the rapid development of China's freight transportation and the general application of multimodal transport, the traffic carbon emissions are increasing.China has carried out research on carbon tax policy intervention in environmental carbon emissions, but the specific model needs to be improved,so it is particularly important to study the emission reduction effect of different carbon tax models in multimodal transport. In the paper, considering the external cost, the total cost model of intermodal transport of container goods in the whole chain of intermodal transport is established, and the influence of different carbon tax models based on the optimal carbon tax rate on the intermodal transport scheme and carbon emissions is studied, and the Tianjin Weihai section of Bohai economic circle is analyzed as an example. For the study of generalized freight cost model including carbon emission cost, this paper calculates the equivalent carbon emission generated by primary energy and power consumption in different regions of transportation, and corrects the relevant parameters of carbon emission to get the carbon emission cost model of multimodal transportation. In this paper, the freight safety cost model based on cargo damage and the freight time cost model considering the value of goods and depreciation rate are established. This paper studies the carbon tax and multimodal transport, considering the differences of goods and modes of transport.Taking Tianjin Weihai section as an example, this paper studies the impact of different carbon tax models on multimodal transport schemes and carbon emissions of different goods.Through the study of carbon tax in this paper, the formulation and implementation of carbon tax policy can be more referential,so as to adjust the transport structure of goods and promote the development of multimodal transport.
