Deep water is rich in oil and gas resources, and is an important energy replacement area. However, due to the complex geological conditions in deep water and the large errors of formation pressure prediction,it is easy to cause overflow, which may lead to well kick or even blowout if the treatment is not timely, and the risk of well control is high. For overflow monitoring, the traditional method has low accuracy and poor timeliness, which seriously restricts the efficient and safe exploration and development of deep-water oil and gas.Firstly, the characteristics of early overflow in deep water are studied, and the parameters suitable for monitoring and identifying overflow in deep water drilling are optimized.Secondly, based on BP neural network,an overflow monitoring and identification model for deepwater drilling is constructed, and optimized by bee colony algorithm(ABC).The model is verified in the inversion of drilling data of A well in South China Sea.Then,on the basis of the existing EKD system for deepwater drilling,an expert decision model(ES)for overflow monitoring and identification is established, which integrates the ES and the neural network model, and an ABC-ES based system for monitoring and identifying overflow in deepwater drilling is established. Finally,on the basis of ABC-ES overflow monitoring and identification model,a software for early overflow monitoring and identification in deepwater drilling is developed by using C.NET and MATLAB mixed programming method. The software has the functions of real-time/historical drilling data transmission and overflow monitoring and identification on the platform. The software for early overflow monitoring and identification of deepwater drilling developed in this paper has been tested in well B in deepwater area of South China Sea.The results show that the software is more accurate for early overflow monitoring and identification of deepwater, which is consistent with the field operation, and can effectively guarantee the efficient and safe exploration and development of deepwater oil and gas fields.
