Operation Simulation And Optimization Of The Gas Pipeline Network In An Oilfield

The structure of the gas pipeline network in an oilfield is complex.It is difficult to fully cope with the operation of the pipeline network only by the experience of the dispatcher.It is necessary to use the professional simulation software to simulate the accident conditions that may occur in the operation of the gas pipeline network,and to make an optimal adjustment,in order to guide the actual operation of the gas pipeline network.This paper establishes a simulation model of gas pipeline network in an oil field through Pipeline Studio 4.0 simulation software.The transient simulation of the working conditions of the reduced gas consumption in the heavy oil working area is carried out,and the influence of different gas consumption reduction conditions on the pressure fluctuation of the gas pipeline network is quantitatively analyzed.In the F operation area,Q operation area and H operation,accident conditions affecting the safe operation of the gas pipeline network are found.Then the sensitivity analysis of different adjustment methods is carried out,and the influence degree of various adjustment methods on the pressure fluctuation of the gas pipeline network is found.Based on the results of the sensitivity analysis,the optimal adjustment plan for the accident condition is selected to ensure the gas pipeline network is running safely in the summer.Predicting the gas consumption in winter,and based on the built simulation model,the optimal peak-shaving operation plan was selected.Subsequently,the transient simulation of the working conditions of the gas supply reduction in the heavy oil working area is carried out,and the influence of different gas supply reduction conditions on the pressure fluctuation of the gas pipeline network is quantitatively analyzed.In the M gas storage,accident conditions affecting the safe operation of the gas pipeline network are found.Then the gas from the second line of the West-East Gas Pipeline can be adjusted as an emergency gas source.And the optimal adjustment plan for the accident condition is selected to ensure the gas pipeline network is running safely in the winter.
