Acrylate polymer has many excellent properties,such as light resistance,film-forming,aging resistance and excellent mechanical properties,it has been widely used in rubber,adhesives,coatings and other industries.But at the same time,acrylate has many shortcomings such as poor solvent resistance,poor water resistance,poor anti-pollution and other shortcomings,which have limited its further development.However,with the improvement of people's requirements for green and non-pollution life quality,the current technology of preparing polyacrylate is not enough to satisfy the needs of the society.many researchers focus on the modification of acrylate.In this research,acrylate latex was modified by functional monomers and environmentally friendly emulsifiers to endow polyacrylate better performances,and one of the modified polyacrylate was selected to modify silicate coating and its properties were studied.The main research contents and results of this research are as follows:1.The acrylic latex was prepared with alcohol ether indican nonionic emulsifier(AEG)and special alkyl alcohol polyether anionic emulsifier sodium sulfate salt(ES-730)as mixed emulsifier.The main monomers were methyl methacrylate(MMA)and butyl acrylate(BA),modified monomers were vinyl triethoxy silane(VTES)and hexafluorobutyl methacrylate(HFMA)and initiated with potassium persulfate(KPS).The content and ratio of emulsifier,ratio of main monomer and content of modified monomer on the synthesized acrylic latex had been studied.The structure of the synthesized polyacrylate latex film was analyzed by infrared spectrum analysis(FT-IR),glass transition temperature(DSC)and thermogravimetric analysis(TGA).2.The acrylate latex was synthetized by alcohol ether indican nonionic emulsifier(AEG),special sodium alkyl alcohol polyether salt anionic emulsifier(ES-430S)and anionic surfactant synergistic agent(DX),MMA and BA were used as main monomer,modified monomers were itaconic acid monobutyl ester(MBI)and HFMA and KPS was used as initiator.The influence of content of anionic synergistic agent,initiator,modified monomer and the mass ratio of main monomer on synthetic latex has been studied.3.The long carbon chain polyacrylate latex was successfully synthesized in the presence of a novel green mixed emulsifier of pecial alkyl alcohol polyether sodium sulfate(ES-430S)and reactive nonionic emulsifier(AE-100)by semi-continuous seeded emulsion polymerization,which was initiated with KPS.Undecylenic acid(UA)and VTES were used as functional monomer and MMA and BA were used as main monomer.The formulation and production technology of polymer latex were optimized,and the properties of copolymerized latex were tested and characterized.4.The fluoride-silicon and long carbon chain monomer modified polyacrylate latex was prepared by semi-continuous seed emulsion polymerization when UA,VTES and HFMA were used as the modified monomers and MMA and BA were used as main monomers.The mixture of sodium dodecyl benzene acid anionic emulsifier(SDBS)and special polyether nonionic emulsifier(EFS-1280)was used as emulsifier and KPS was used as initiator.The formulation and production technology of polymer latex were optimized,and the properties of copolymerized latex were measured and characterized.5.The crosslinked polyacrylate latex was prepared in the presence of SDBS and tetradecyl dimethyl hydroxy propyl betaine amphoteric surfactant(betaine)by semi-continuous seeded emulsion polymerization,which was initiated with KPS.MMA and BA were used as the main monomers and N,N-diethyl acrylamide(DEA)and monobutyl itaconate(MBI)were used as functional monomers.The properties of latex film include contact angle,water absorption,chemical stability and mechanical stability were studied.6.Inorganic-organic composition coating was prepared with acrylate latex which was modified by functional monomer DEA and MBI,and the effect of PVC on properties of coatings was discussed and the experimental formula was optimized.
