CNC machine tools are in the key position of the production line in industrial production,and their normal and efficient processing is an important guarantee for the normal operation of the production line.The precision of CNC machine tools determines the precision of the product.Thermal error has the greatest impact on machining accuracy,accounting for about 40 ~ 70% of the total error of CNC machine tools.It has a very high economic value that making a design of thermal error measurement and control device for CNC machine tools.It can also effectively improve the precision of CNC machine tools,ensure the processing quality and improve the product competitiveness.In this paper,a thermal error measurement and control system based on noncontact measurement is designed.The temperature change is measured by infrared thermal imager,and the thermal deformation of CNC machine tools is measured by eddy current sensor.The thermal error model of CNC machine tools is established of the both of them.The thermal error compensation system with remote communication function is designed to compensate the thermal error of CNC machine tools.The work of this paper is as follows:1.A temperature measurement system based on infrared thermal imager is designed and calibrated.The system can obtain the temperature field data of the machine tool spindle.2.A thermal deformation measurement system based on the eddy current sensor is designed,and the thermal deformation data of the machine tools is obtained through the system.3.The thermal error model of CNC machine tools is established according to the temperature data and thermal deformation data.4.The thermal error compensation system which can realize the wireless control is designed and applied to CNC machine tools.The experiment shows that the compensation effect is good.
