Because of its unique climatic conditions and geographical features,Xinjiang has become an important producing area of dried fruit.The uniqueness of local dried fruit has great market potential,dried fruit brands have sprung up,and the competition among brands has become increasingly fierce.In addition,the fierce offensive of many dried fruit brands at home and abroad,the local dried fruit industry in Xinjiang has ushered in great competitive pressure.Therefore,if the dried fruit industry in Xinjiang wants to break through the competition of many similar brands,it is more important to attract consumers to stop buying through the visual difference and recognition besides the hard work on product types and quality.As the most direct and intimate packaging design in contact with consumers,its visual differentiation and clear value establishment are the key points for the brand to break through in the competition.At present,after market research,it is found that the design of dried fruit packaging in Xinjiang is generally lack of innovation and image,lack of distinct regional identification characteristics and can not cause strong consumer desire to buy.Xinjiang,as a rich and colorful ethnic art,has developed a unique and non-replicable multi-ethnic culture in the specific multi-ethnic fusion and blending with nature and human environment.These precious art and culture should be a good source of material for creating the image differentiation of dried fruit packaging,and the most typical of these unique national culture is the "Edles silk" pattern.Based on this,this paper takes the packaging design of "western region orchard" as the foothold,uses the most unique cultural pattern of xinjiang —— " edles silk " pattern as thecultural carrier,through the extraction,reorganization and optimization of " edles silk" pattern,integrates into the design of dried fruit packaging and derivatives of "western region orchard ",and transforms its cultural connotation into brand values,so as to achieve the pattern on the basis of fusion with dried fruit information to further realize its fashionable style,enhance the differentiation and recognition between local dried fruit brand image and other dried fruit brands,and establish its unique brand image.At the same time,it also realizes the organic integration between Xinjiang regional culture and regional brand.To sum up,the improvement of dried fruit packaging design in Xinjiang is a useful and meaningful attempt,which provides valuable experience for the sustainable development of dried fruit industry in Xinjiang in the future.
