Pick is one of the largest mining machinery parts in the process of cutting coal and rock by roadheader.It directly contacts with coal and rock.In order to improve its performance and reuse of pick,improve its efficiency.In this paper,the mechanical and wear characteristics of roadheader pick are studied.According to the principle of cutting coal and rock and the cutting process,the main failure forms of cutting pick wear and corrosion are analyzed theoretically.Through the establishment of cutting head model of road header,through ANSYS Workbench simulation shows that the main cutting contact area is the alloy tip and the front part of the cutting head of road-header,which is easier to wear than other parts of the pick.The failure mode and easy failure position of the pick are determined.In this paper,laser cladding technology is used to complete the remanufacturing repair and strengthening of pick.Firstly,a 2700 W laser processing machine was used to carry out laser cladding at the scanning speed of 5mm/s.The micro-structure and macro composition of the cladding layer are analyzed by optical metallographic microscope,scanning electron microscope,energy dispersive spectrometer,X-ray diffractometer and microhardness tester.The wear resistance of the cladding layer was studied by impact abrasive wear tester,and the wear morphology was observed by scanning electron microscope(SEM).The performance of laser cladding cutting table before and after the test is compared.On the one hand,through the detection of the current signal of the three-phase AC current transmitter and the speed,torque and power parameter data of the torque sensor,the performance of the pick is compared and analyzed.On the other hand,under the same working condition,the cutting quality of the two kinds of pick is measured under the cutting time of 24 h,48h and 72 h.By comparing the wear rate of the two kinds of pick,the wear resistance of the pick before and after laser cladding remanufacturing is determined.In this paper,based on the theory of cutting coal and rock strata,combined with the characteristics of pick wear,the laser cladding technology is used to repair the pick,which can reduce the wear of the pick,improve the service life of the pick,and provide some guidance for the remanufacturing of the pick.There are 53 pictures,12 tables and 73 references.
