The consumption of coal resources is quite huge,and it is the cornerstone of China's economic development.Currently,it accounts for 60% of China's primary energy.Water inrush accident is often a serious problem in coal mine safety.However,the trend of water inrush accidents towards concealment and unpredictability requires breakthrough and pioneering progress in basic geology and exploration technology.Predecessors in their respective areas of the mechanism of inrush and evaluation of research and engineering practice,the sequence stratigraphy is widely used in oil exploration,Coal geologists use sequence stratigraphy to study the law of rich coal,prediction of coal resources,this paper try to carry out stratigraphic sequence development,based on the coal mining geological evaluation.By means of lithology,well logging curve,core,underground measured formation and fault,and using the CROSS high resolution sequence stratigraphy method,the sequence division and correlation of benxi-taiyuan formation are carried out,and the study on the influence of sequence development sequence on mining geological conditions is carried out.the conclusion is as follows:(1)The benxi formation and Taiyuan Formation in the study area are divided into three medium-term base level cycles.MSC1 represents barrier coastal deposition and MSC2 and MSC3 shallow water delta sedimentary facies.(2)the relationship between sequence development and aquifer and water-proof layer is discussed.At the initial stage of base-level decline,channel sandstone develops with a large thickness,which is a favorable space for water storage.When the base-level decreases gradually,the space for water storage increases,and the water body becomes deeper,mudstone and coal seam are deposited,and water-proof layer begins to develop.(3)The influence of coal seam development rule and stability of coal seam roof and floor under sequence control on mining is discussed.This paper includes 56 figures,11 tables and 82 reference.
