At present,the research of raw materials for cosmetics is growing more natural and greener,in which the demand for environment protection and assurance of human safety and that has become the basic premise of the design of cosmetic base emulsion system.Emulsion is a commonly used liquid cosmetic whose stability has always been a basic and very significant indicator in its production and application.It is important to study the stability of emulsion for its production,storage,usage and formulation.As an indispensable additive in the preparation of various emulsion systems,the green toxicity of surfactants has increasingly attracted the attention of the field of daily research.The polyglycerol monostearate(PGFE)is a natural surfactant that was used to be in various cosmetics in order to prepared with small skin irritation and high safety products and it can be used as an emulsifier for O/W emulsion.In this paper,the polyglycerol monostearate(PGFE)was used as the emulsifier,and dioctyl carbonate(Cetiol CC)was chosen to be the oil phase.The stable of Cetiol CC/PGFE/H2 O emulsion system was prepared by homogenization method.Hexaglycerol and decaglycerin are synthesized by a basic catalysis method,later polyglycerol monostearate is obtained by reacting polyglycerin and stearic acid in present paper.The prepared 6-PGFE and 10-PGFE were used as emulsifiers to prepare a dioctyl carbonate emulsion and at same time its stability was examined.The experimental results show that: 6-PGFE is an emulsifier emulsion system with good stability and large particle size;10-PGFE is an emulsifier emulsion system with poor stability and small particle size,so it is compounded with two emulsifiers.Through the investigation of the basic characteristics of emulsifier ratio,emulsifier content,oil phase content,homogenization time,emulsification temperature,particle size,viscosity,absorbance ratio(SRI)and delamination rate of the prepared emulsion,the different influencing factors were discussed.On the basis of single factor experiment,the oil phase content,homogenization time and emulsifier content which are the most stable emulsion stability were investigated by response surface experiment.The experimental results showed that the oil phase content has small effect on the particle size of the emulsion,and simultaneously has large effect on PDI.The homogenization time has a significant effect on the particle size and PDI of the emulsion.The emulsifier content has a great influence on the PDI of the emulsion,and the effect on the particle size of the emulsion is extremely significant.Through the optimization of response surface,the optimal process of the emulsion was determined as follows: oil phase content was 14.73%,homogenization time was 6.44 min,and emulsifier content was 4.37%.The optimized emulsion system was applied by dispersing different mass content of sunscreen nano ZnO into the oil phase,preparing sunscreen lotion under optimized conditions,analyzing and characterizing its sunscreen performance by ultraviolet spectrophotometry.So as to improve the moisturizing properties of this kind of sunscreen,added the humectant glycerin and hyaluronic acid to it.Experiments have shown that the ZnO sunscreen has a sunccreen effect.When the amount of nano-ZnO added is 2.5% and the amount of glycerin added is 5%,the sunscreen lotion has the best moisturizing effect.
