China is rich in molybdenum mineral resources.It has been continuously mining in the 1950 s.After nearly 50 years of research on production and related technologies,it has gradually formed a relatively mature industrial chain and product specifications.Since the beginning of the 21 st century,China’s molybdenum industry with the rapid development of China,large enterprises with molybdenum resources have gradually extended the industrial chain downwards,the production scale has been continuously expanded and upgraded,and competition in China’s molybdenum smelting industry has also increased.This article uses the case analysis method,based on the theory of domestic and foreign companies’ development strategies and related research results,and chooses the molybdenum products business development strategy of Jilin Molybdenum Company as the research object.Under the influence of the rapidly changing market,due to the continuous downturn of the non-ferrous metal industry,aggressive investment,and lack of management,as well as the state’s emphasis on environmental protection and the restriction of excessive mining in the molybdenum industry,related policies have been proposed,which has led to The market position of the molybdenum industry has declined year by year.In this situation,how to take advantage of Jilin Molybdenum to occupy more market share has become the main development goal of Jilin Molybdenum.This article mainly draws on the theory of corporate development strategy.First,find the theoretical basis and research tools related to corporate strategic development,and briefly introduce the process of molybdenum products.Second,using PEST’s theory to deeply analyze the macro environment of the molybdenum industry from four aspects,using Porter’s five-force model to analyze the industry environment of the molybdenum products industry,by collecting internal data of the enterprise,to understand the basic situation of Jilin Mo The company conducts interviews and surveys with relevant personnel within the enterprise to obtain in-depth information about the enterprise,collects the employees’ views on the company’s overall development strategy,summarizes and analyzes the collected results,summarizes the problems existing in the enterprise’s development,and combines the company’s organizational structure,Resource conditions,corporate culture,human resources,production and sales,finance,safety and environmental protection,etc.to further analyze the company’s internal environment;use SWOT analysis model to analyze the entire molybdenum industry of Jilin Molybdenum The advantages and disadvantages,opportunities and threats faced by the product industry have resulted in the SWOT analysis matrix of Jilin Molybdenum.Third,through SWOT analysis,determine the development vision for the enterprise,and formulate a three-to five-year development goal for the enterprise in terms of products,markets,human resources,corporate culture,etc.According to the development strategy framework,the business strategy from Starting with market strategy and product strategy,formulate the development strategy of the molybdenum products business of Jilin Molybdenum Company.Fourth,the functional strategy provides corresponding strategies for the formulation of strategies from five aspects: ideology,organizational manpower,R & D technology,funding conditions,safety and environmental protection Safeguards.Through the research on the molybdenum products business development strategy of Jilin Molybdenum Company,it strives to provide practical case support for the company’s subsequent strategic development and operation and management,and realizes the combination of theory and practice.The research can improve the company’s discourse power and influence in the entire molybdenum industry and achieve the company’s leading position in the domestic and international molybdenum industry.
