Research On The Construction And Dissemination Of Environmental Issues Concerned With Ngos In The Context Of Self-media

Environment-centered NGOs constitute one of the key forces for environmental protection other than government and enterprises.In recent years,NGOs focusing on environmental protection have developed a relatively independent environmental protection field with the aid of traditional media and self-media platforms,setting up and disseminating environmental protection issues,bridging the communication between the government and the masses,thereby stimulating the public's sense of responsibility and boosting their active participation in environmental protection.Over the years,environmental problems such as desertification of grasslands and pollution from the "waste water,waste gas,and coal ash" of local enterprises have been rampant in Inner Mongolia.As the northern gate of the motherland and the front line of ecology,the ecological environment of Inner Mongolia has a direct bearing on the overall ecological well-being of China.After exploration,this research came up with the findings as below.To start with,NGOs featuring environmental protection empower the addressing of environmental issues with technology.Specifically,Weibo and WeChat have been leveraged to build up environmental issues,improve social visibility of environmental issues,trigger the public's awareness and meet the public's demand for social and public affairs.Secondly,NGOs featuring environmental protection apply the self-media's interpersonal relationship network to make full use of the discourse communication strategies to define and disseminate,narrowing the distance with users and forming the consensus for emotional identity to better communicate the environmental problems to thepublic.Finally,such NGOs mobilize the public and substantiate the formulation of environmental problems by constructing an environmentally-friendly public domain with diverse expressions and public participation.NGOs of environmental protection apply the media to build social identity,activate and channel the energy of individual environmental protection,and leverage social resources for environmental governance.Hence,it can be concluded that NGOs dedicated to environmental protection are of great significance for personal social responsibility,environmental protection awareness promotion,and sustainable development of ecological governance.
