In 2011,China became the largest country in civil shipbuilding,but in the field of high value-added shipbuilding.For example,VLCC series tanker is far behind Japan and South Korea,especially in ballast system design.At the same time,the revision of international convention is gradually frequent,which leads to the higher requirement of ship ballast water treatment year by year.Therefore,this paper takes the ballast water system of VLCC series cruise ships as the research object,aiming to efficiently deal with the harmful organisms in the ballast water,so as to optimize part of the structure of the ballast water system,as follows:1.On the basis of reading a lot of literature,this paper summarizes the research status of ballast water treatment.At the same time,the development trend of VLCC series tankers is discussed.The ballast water system of a 300000-ton super large tanker is designed.2.To optimize the structure of the hydrocyclone,the preliminary design is first carried out,mainly to determine the main diameter of the cyclone,the length of the column section,the diameter of the bottom and overflow port,the inlet structure and the relevant values of the size and depth of the overflow pipe.Then,based on the actual characteristics of solid and liquid flows inside the cyclone,euler model and RSM turbulence model were used to further simulate the cyclone,and the flow field rules inside the cyclone were analyzed and better structural parameters of the cyclone were obtained according to the experimental results.3.Optimize the structure of ultrasonic processor,mainly to complete the selection and parameter setting of ultrasonic processor.The sound pressure calculation formula of the transducer array in three-dimensional space is calculated.At the same time,the sound field distribution in the ultrasonic processor is simulated by MATLAB software.The effects of cavity height H and ultrasonic frequency on the sound field are discussed respectively.4.Structure optimization of ultraviolet sterilizer.In order to increase the retention time of ballast water in the sterilizer,the design USES the deflector to optimize the design.RSM turbulence model was selected and Fluent software was used to simulate the optimal parameters of guide vane.At the same time,Matlab software was used for numerical simulation.The average dose in the sterilizer can be obtained by multiplying the average UV radiation intensity and residence time,and the distribution rule of the plane and dose of the UV sterilizer can be directly simulated to achieve a very significant simulation effect.Finally,the calculated results are verified by experiments.
