Since the 21st century,with the continuous growth of the population and the continuous development of medical technology,a variety of new drugs have been developed and put into production.As the basis of drug production,the annual output of active phamaceutical ingredient in China has reached 800,000 tons.Pharmaceutical wastewater which is difficult to treat is discharged in the process of active phamaceutical ingredient production.If the wastewater is discharged directly,it will have destructive and irreversible effects on the surrounding natural water body.This paper is based on the transformation of a sewage treatment station system of a pharmaceutical company in Jiangsu.Active phamaceutical ingredient is the main product of the company,with more than 60 kinds of products and a very high market share.After consulting a lot of data and understanding the commonly used pharmaceutical wastewater treatment technology at home and abroad,combined with the previous engineering experience and the current situation of the sewage station,considering the principle of making full use of the original structure and adapting measures to local conditions,the biochemical treatment process based on"hydrolytic acidification+IC anaerobic reaction system+aerobic system+MBR"was selected.Through the anaerobic pilot test,the biodegradability of the wastewater from the regulating tank of the sewage treatment station of the company was verified.At the same time,further increase the volume load.Finally,the highest load that the pilot test could reach was obtained:8.8kgCOD/(m~3.d).Under this load,the pilot test device still had a high COD removal efficiency.On the basis of the success of the pilot test,the design parameters of the original structure of the sewage treatment station were checked with the water volume of 4000m~3/d and the inlet COD concentration of6000mg/L as the reference.On the basis of the original two UASB anaerobic reactors,two IC anaerobic reactors were added and the original triple sinking tank was transformed into MBR.The investment of the system reconstruction project is estimated,and the manpower,tools and time limit for the implementation of the system reconstruction project are estimated.Commissioning is carried out after the completion of the system transformation,monitor the quality of the incoming and outgoing water.The COD removal rate reach more than 94%,and the effluent meet the"wastewater quality standards for discharge to municipal sewers".The electricity,pharmacy,labor,steam,etc.generated during the operation of the sewage station are counted,and the treatment cost per ton of water is about 5.88 yuan.The system transformation of a sewage treatment station of a pharmaceutical company in Jiangsu has improved the economic and environmental benefits of the company,and it also has certain reference significance for the treatment of similar wastewater.
