Cold-rolled pipe has been the technology industry favored due to its excellent performance,and cold rolling mill as the key equipment of rolling pipe has a great impact on product quality.The working state of the motor in the cold rolling mill reflects the running state of the mill.In view of the lack of unified monitoring of the current electronic control of the rolling mill,this design adopts the monitor with STM32 as the core to realize the monitoring of the DC motor in the cold rolling mill,which is of great significance for improving the quality of the pipe and ensuring the safety and maintenance of the equipment.In this paper,the working process of cold rolling mill is introduced firstly,and the electric control system is described in detail.On this basis,the functional requirements of the monitoring system of cold rolling mill are put forward according to the actual application requirements.The composition of the monitoring system is discussed,including the monitor and the upper monitor.The hardware and software design of the monitor is completed.The hardware design adopts STM32F103C8T6 single chip computer based on ARM core as the control core.It is composed of power module,input and output module,electrical signal measurement module,communication module,isolation module and human-computer interaction module.On the basis of the hardware circuit,the software design of each module is completed by using modular design method,including the software design of sampling,data storage and fault protection modules.At the same time,the upper monitor based on virtual instrument LabVIEW can not only display the waveform of voltage and current,but also add the function of database.The monitor and upper monitor work together through RS485 bus to complete the overall design of the cold rolling mill monitoring system.After the hardware and software development of the monitoring system is completed,an experimental platform is built in the laboratory for system debugging.After debugging the hardware and software of the system,the verification experiments of the host computer and database were carried out,and finally the whole monitoring experiment of the cold rolling mill monitoring system was completed.The results show that the monitoring system of cold rolling mill meets the expected monitoring requirements.Finally,the work of this subject is summarized,and suggestions for future development work are put forward.
